Just got off the Dream and it was the Tervis.

Never understood why they do not let us pick from a list. Nice that they do it but it should be something we have a use for.

I totally agree! Even if I don't like the gift, I take it. I figure if I leave it in the cabin they won't run out of them as fast. LOL

Well.........mine wouldn't swell from lack of walking on a cruise ship because I walk much more there than I do at home. I figured it was the fact that I did walk so much and also the sodium in the food and the salt air.

You should be good then. Our first Cove balcony rooms were under the dining room and we had no problems. They were very quiet. The next two times we were under the galley because we needed 4 rooms together and that's the only choice we had and they were pretty noisy at night. Sounded like they were scooting things across the floor in the middle of the night. Guess they were busy cooking for us!

I love the Cove Balcony rooms but they can be noisy at night with the galley being above them. If there are any rooms left under the dining room, I'd suggest booking one of them. They tend to get booked first. LOL

I've been told by Carnival reps that this is NOT true. They will still be serving Captain Morgan. At least that's what the rep and the Senior Cruise Director told me.

We are on the pride & effective our sailing there is no more captain Morgan being served! Carnival is replacing it with Bacardi Oak Heart as the same! Definitely not! I hope they bring it back or we will have to sale another line!

Have been told by Carnival and their reps that this is not true. It is still on the list of rums. Do not know why they didn't have it on your cruise but they will still have it onboard Carnival ships.

This is a falsehood. It is still being served and Cruise Critic seems to be deleting our posts about it. Just saw a list of what rum is still being served and Captain Morgan is on the list. Why is Cruise Critic deleting our posts about this? Does anyone know? Cruise Critic does not seem to like Carnival very well.

John Heald just posted this on facebook. It's a list of all rums served on the Carnival Fleet and Captain Morgan is still included. He said they have no plans to discontinue it.

In Sept 2013, he was on the Sensation sailing out of Port Canaveral.

A few years ago Wee Jimmy was our cruise director on the Freedom, and we'd love to sail with him again. Only thing is we don't remember his full name, so we can't check the CD schedule to see if he's still with Carnival. Can anyone tell us his last name?

His real name is Ralph Valente and currently he's sailing on the Sensation out of Port Canaveral.

On Carnival Sensation....don't book room #E146, extremely loud and banging, scraping noises all night long. Never slept a full night in this room. It's under the galley and I think a work room must be next door.
