Hi , Hopefully you will get Arash as it will save you a lot of time.

I will give you 2 routes to do or you could do both.

    1) Cruise terminal to Soller by the coast road.

Head for P de Andratx ,then on to Valdermossa and pt de Soller.

    2) Cruise terminal to Sa Calobra.

Head for P de Soller stopping in Soller ,then on to Sa Calobra returning via Inca and Santa Maria.

You will have to plan your route via Google maps, look at the various towns on the routes to see if you want to stop.

    Hi,

No problem with hiring a car or traffic jams go back to my posts to see how to do it .

Hire a car from Arash car hire he will leave it at the port and you return it there.

Personally I think I would drive around the S.W of the island it's far prettier.

Hello Roger and thanks for your answer. I emailed arash and hope they have availability! If not, I booked a (refundable) car through Europcar, looks like a 20ish minutes walk from port (perhaps we can take a taxi?)

I am having a hard time finding the post you are referring too, any chance you can point it out to me? Thanks!

  3. Hello!

We (Dh, 17 and 15 yo boys and myself) will dock in Palma on July 14 (celebrity edge, 8h-18h). This is our first time in Mallorca.  We would love to see some of the nature, scenery and beautiful coastal views. I was thinking of renting. Car for the day and drive to the mirador es Colomer and Alcudia.

Is this feasible? Should we be worried about traffic jams? Any other suggestions?

    TIA!

  4. Thank you - I am looking at either:

SL- Family Suite with Large balcony

SJ-  Family suite with master bedroom and Balcony

Suites in the Haven are too pricy 😅. 2 club balcony is more expensive than a sl or sj and we would like to benefits from the suite perks.

    thanks!

  5. Hello!

i am looking for a med cruise for 4 (2 adults and 2 teens - then 15 and 17) for summer 2023. I can’t put them In a double sofa bed and I am not interested in having an interior room. I noticed the Seaview has pop up bunk sofa bed, which seems like a good option.
What other MSC ship have them? Any other room configuration we should look into, beside having a separate stateroom?

    thanks!

  6. Thanks for you replies. As I said, Im well aware this is not the best option with kids. I browsed RC, NCL, Princess, Disney, Celebrity, Carnival...

more than 10 nights wont work.

One of us cant travel between day 1-9 of each month.

We cannot leave before June 24 and cant be back later that Aug 20...

We already did a Baltic Cruise and travelled to most cities visited by med cruise....

We also have a MSC Norwegian fjords cruise that works. But i personnally prefer the british isles itinerary.Which is why I was asking: what kind of entertainement can we expect in the evening? Only music? Will there be perforers? What kind? What can of activities can we expect on the 2 sea days?

    Is the pool covered?

    Thanks.

  7. We are planning a cruise for summer 2017 for a total of 6 adults and 8 kids (3 yo - 4 yo - 8 yo - 9 yo -11 yo, 11 yo- 11yo and 13 yo).

We are looking either for a Norwegian fjords cruise or a british isles cruise.

The only cruise we have been on so far was a Baltic Cruise with NCL 3 years ago.

Due to everyone schedule at work, its a bit hard to find a cruise that fits for all of us.

The one itinerary that seems to fit so far would be the British isles cruise on Pacific Princess in aug 2017.

I read its a much smaller ship and Im a bit worried about how appropriate the ship would be for the kids.

What kind of entertainement can we expect at night or during sea days? are kids accepted in the pool area?

Is is possible to be seated with members of our group for dinner?

I know we are not to expect rock climbing wall and water slides on this ship and this is not a problem but we would still want the kids to have some places where they can go to have some fun.

If any of you have been on a the Pacific princess with kids, id love to hear from you.

    Thanks!
