RTH is something you could do if you have time to kill...IMO, it's not a "must do"...yeah, it's lovely, but it's a LONG day...and I don't think it's the best way to spend a day, unless you have MANY days to fill!
What would be your suggestions of "must see" if we are only at that island from 7am to 6pm (and we have to create a buffer on either side to get off the ship, rent a car, get back to the ship after returning the car)? We were thinking of JUST doing Road to Hana... Thanks.

I've been trying to research what to do on our shore days and the website has been giving me all kinds of trouble for the past two days. It seems to be working much better today.

Just to add one more data point... I have a 15 year old daughter and a 12 year old son who would much prefer to be together (plus the activities in the "teen" area aren't do my daughter's liking). I talked to someone at Princess (on the phone) and they said it shouldn't be a problem for her to hang out in the younger group. I doubt my son would be allowed in the teen group, though.

Thanks, guys. I did Google "Star Princess deck plan" and clicked the princess.com one that came up right at the top of the search results. Hadn't noticed the printed date.
Okay, nothing more to see here. Move along. =)

Cool, thanks! Maybe it was an old deck plan.

For reference, the deck plans differ from the Princess one:
https://www.princess.com/learn/ships/deck_plan_pdf/Star_Princess_Deck_Plans.pdf
to the Cruise Ship Deck Plan one:

(See deck 5)
I don't THINK I'm hallucinating...

We went on the Star Princess in 2014 and loved the International Cafe. We are going on the ship again later this year, and I wanted to refresh my memory as to its location on the ship. I can't find "International Cafe" listed on the deck plan anywhere, only a Patisserie, which is in a slightly different location from where I remembered the International Cafe being. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Yes, thank you! We brought a surge protector on our last cruise and no one said anything. We'll search for a power strip instead.

One Month Left on Passport - Do we need to Renew ?
in Princess Cruises
Posted
My kids will have only 4 1/2 months left on their passports during our cruise. I talked to someone at Princess on the phone and they said it was fine. One month might be cutting it close, but there is no six month requirement. (Our stop is also in Mexico.)
