Hello Bernadette - I tried to send it, but it rejected it as it said the email wasn't associated with a google account 😞 Do you have one that is?  Evening will make it a bit more difficult as it would anywhere, but you will have some daylight at that time (check the almanac or other source like the various websites with weather info to see when sunset would be). With the restaurants it won't matter if it gets dark, but you don't want to be just wandering any city at night (even if you could see in the dark 🙂

Maybe you could see some of it and see the rest on your next visit? That is a ridiculous port time for sure!

    Have fun!

Wow.... over 120 now sharing this tour! Can’t believe that I went over that much to google maps to add someone 😂

But almost the minute that I discovered that fact I also found out that the one person (among all these lovely people) who was really aggravated because google required him to have a google-related email address to share the map and emailed me to say so is also the one person who tracked down my tiny YouTube channel (since it’s also under “AlohaLivin”) where I must film our cruise cabins to help people who want to see it before they book it plus a few scenic travel destinations  (without people and comment) and clicked on dislike for every single one. 😏. Unfortunately the nice people on the planet are always less motivated than the ones who aren’t so nice ☹️ I think the nice people go on their merry way, it’s the mean ones who sit and scheme. Sometimes the good guy should win though 🎉🤞🏼

@AlohaLivin can you please send this tour to us as well.  We will be in SanJuan with the MSC Seaside in a few more weeks and this would certainly give us something to do.  But we don't get there until around 5:00pm EST.  Can we still do the items on your map in the evening hours?  Thanks again for all you've done here.  You've provided a service to us all👍👍

email: bernadetteaddison @ msn . com

    Thanks again !!

I don't know of any restaurants that are water side, maybe someone else can chime in. However their are plenty of places around the area. You can basically pull up or anchor right off any beach

    😎 Cool...thanks.

Their is another one also......H20........ https://www.h2osportsbermuda.com

We have rented from them twice, I really like their boats.

We are renting the boat from H2O for 5 hours.  I’m wondering if we’ll have a place to dock and have lunch during our 5 hour self-guided stretch.  Is there anywhere on the island where you can “park” a boat for an hour or so to get some food?

The waived DSC does not seem to be an option anymore.  However, I am sure if you have enough cabins anything is negotiable. 🙂

This is from a Group Options Cheat Sheet that was sent to me from an NCL rep

    Some things to note:
    - The TC is 1 for every 5 cabins and 10 people booked
o Studios and singles only count as a half cabin towards the TC
    - Guests are now required to pay 20% gratuities on the UBP and Dining packages
    - Prepaid service charges is no longer a choice
    - If your group decides to take the cocktail party or fundraiser amenity, everyone in the group must select it
    - If you change ships/sail dates, guests are subject to the new group program
    - The tiered OBC is dependent on the stateroom type

If you have any questions, please see your Manager.

Amazing how things change so quickly.  I booked our group in Dec. 2017 - needed to give everyone more than enough time to save up.  We got:

    - TC is 1 for every 7 cabins and 14 people booked.

    - UBP included and 20% gratuities waived

    - Prepaid service charges

    - No cocktail party even offered

    - No OBC offered.

    Wow....😲😲..what a difference a year makes....

Uhhh exactly what I said. Studios and insides usually only get one perk. Though the current promo is different, by and large oceanview and balconies do get two - but like I said there were more options than the free at sea if someone doesn't like those. Also OBC. Oh and for a 7 day cruise the group dining perk is 4 nights which is more than the free at sea. Plus the credit mentioned above, but that fully depends on what the person in charge of the group decides.

Hmmmm....we got no OBC.  🤨 And - yes - the Studios and the Insides are definitely getting the best deal by being in a group cruise.

All the members of our group got the waived DSC except US !!!  We are the only ones in the group who booked a Haven Suite.  We got all the Haven perks, but we did not get the prepaid services charges.   I guess you cannot combine group perks with suite perks ?? Who knew?

  8. the perks DO show up on the Group Detail report for each cabin, but when they log into their MyNCL pages, there are no perks there.  I'm curious to know why the perks show up on the group report but not on their login pages??  How do I know the perks will show up for each cabin once we're onboard the ship if it doesn't show up on their pages?  This is my first (...and most likely my last!...) group cruise sailing.

Would definitely like to hear the experiences from other group leaders who coordinated group cruises before...

  9. I booked the group directly with NCL Cruise Consultant. I have all the paper work, but none of the perks are showing up on users' MyNCL pages.  So I'm curious to know why it doesn't show up, and will it show up directly on the cruise ship when we board?  I really don't want any headaches with the group members about what they were told they'd get vs. what actually happens on the ship.  I want to know in advance that everything that goes along with the group booking gets applied.  Should I just give them all a copy of the Group detail report??

  10. Hello, we have booked a Group Cruise with NCL...about 8 cabins.  Our group gets a choice of perks, but the two we chose are (1) ultimate beverage package for everyone and (2) all DSC and Tips waived for everyone.  I have copies of the FS Group Details with all the perks outlined for every cruiser and each cabin. But when these folks log into their online NCL accounts, these perks are not listed for each of them to see.  As the group leader, am I supposed to do anything special to make sure every group member gets what we're entitled to?  Or should we just be confident that when we board the ship in September that everything will be listed and recorded as it should.??

Has anyone here planned and executed a group cruise before?  Your insight and advice would be great!  Thanks in advance.
