If you purchase the texting/social wifi usage on the carnival website before the cruise, it is cheaper.. around $4 a day/per person. We were on the Vista and had no issues texting each other, and connecting to Snapchat and Facebook.

Anyone have any information on Casa De Campo? Can you just go there off the ship to spend the day there, use the beach/pools? Is there a day pass available? I heard Casa De Campo owns the dock and that anyone coming off the ship can go there to visit...?

We found a tour guide from "Grand Turk Tours" on the beach, and we went on a 2-stop snorkeling tour. It was wonderful and paid only $40 per person. Included rum punch too. We had a great time! Look up Grand Turk Tours on Facebook...they also take pictures of you and post them to facebook page!
Carnival Glory room location questions
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Three years ago we stayed in 6374 and 6372 on the Carnival Glory. We were shocked with the loud music and kids screaming until about 1:00am in the morning. The walls in our room would actually shake. Even during the day they would play movies in Club O2, we could hear each sentence in the movie "Jaws". We contacted guest services the first night to complain. We continued to complain each night due to the fact we had a 2 year old and 2 other children. We ended up speaking to the "hotel manager" and received a credit on our account and a discount on a future cruise as we were so unhappy. These rooms should be only reserved for casino players, since most likely they will be in the casino much of the night, thus missing the loud annoying teen club. Taught us a lesson to always look at the ship's deck plans, because we will always steer clear of Club O2 and other loud music venues.
