I would imagine most of you have done or heard about bringing old or inexpensive undies & socks and just tossing them after using them once.

 

I have add lost & damaged items on Princess as well as at our cleaners at home...I have been compensated for both.

 

 

On Princess the item was less than 100usd so they handled it on the ship.......

 

EDit..just read a few posts above, so see someone else does what I do.....

 

but I have another experience to relate......Recently on embarkation day someone in a Caribe Cabin had a line extending diagonally across their balcony with all their unmentionables hanging there drying.....In all my years of cruising I had never seen that.

On a recent cruise I went to use a public bathroom outside one on the bars on Deck 7. There was a lady in there doing her laundry in the sink. Couldn't believe my eyes!

I had a vertebrae replaced and my back fused two years ago. Spent 10 days on the Grand and 14 days on the Island with the new beds. It was great. No back issues. I do agree though you should try them out before you buy.

I personally would change. Once our ship had a mechanical problem and we limped back to port arriving around 11:00. Our relatives had a flight to catch and they were literally running thru the airport to make their connection.

I have been following along and since we took the Island thru the Canal 3/15/17 I thought I would interject. We were in the new Club Class and Club Class is assigned to a good third of the anytime dining room. We could walk in at anytime and be seated. The criticism I heard from those using anytime dining was unless they called in each morning and reserved a time there were long waits.

We've parked at Cruise ship parking 55 Francisco. It is very close to the terminal and never had a problem.

Has anyone used the parking garage near the ship? We have a reservation but wonder if it could possible fill up early?

We took a cruise out of LA and our ship snagged a fishing net. They returned to port less one engine. Didn't arrive in port till noon. Everyone on board was sweating getting to airport on time.
