I am not a fan of the new menus, there seems to be a lot of fish and seafood. I am allergic, so this really limits my choices.
I agree

Hello, we will be Cruising this Aug/Sept and have a late flight. Renting a car for the day to sightsee is a possibility for us, but how do you get from the pier to the car rental place? Thank you for any help or ideas!

Thank you for your review. I'm going on the Spirit in August to Alaska. I've never been to Bonaire. Sorry you got Covid - I did too 2 days after getting off the Magic in Nov. Still not feeling good. Great review, thanks for the pictures too!

The Magic has a nice Thalassotherapy pool in the spa that is really nice. It costs extra though. Also has a "secret" deck on decks 10 and 11 forward that is quiet and great for star gazing.

Thanks so much for reading! They will usually have early card sales a couple of hours prior to the show. Check the Hub App or the paper copy of the activities for time and place. You can also go about a half hour prior to the show and get your card(s). Cards are $25 each, or 2 for $40.
Here are what your cards look like. At the bottom of your card, hidden under the tab is your card number. It is that number which is randomly drawn to select the on-stage contestant. They will also show the name of the person who bought the card up on the screen. There are two games per session, and your card is good for both games.
Everybody else plays for the prize board. The idea is to have as many matches as you can. The more matches, the better the prize. What is a match? As the on-stage contestant selects cases, say he selects case # 5 and it has $10 in it, then you open # 5 on your card, and if it shows $10, you have a match. You don't win anything until you have two matches. After every round they will show the prize board, and you can see how many people have matches and at what level. Whatever level you're at when the game ends is what you win. They will explain how you will receive any prizes that you win. I think that covers it!
Thank you very much! Going on the Magic in 3 weeks. I will look for this game.

Thank you for all the time you and Patti put into this wonderful review. Can you explain how the Deal or No Deal game works for those not selected to be on stage? Do you have to get your cards ahead of time or can you show up and get them before the game starts? How much are the cards? Thanks again

We have already arranged a shuttle back to MCO in Nov. Our flight isn't until after 9pm. Any ideas on what to do for the day? Thank you!

Is there a breakfast menu with cereals and muffins?

Great question. Thanks for asking. I aways wondered myself about the chocolate melting cake! I sure don't want to miss it!

Great review and pictures. I was on the Victory in Oct of 2018 and had a great time. I also liked learning that you can store your luggage at the airport and what you did for the day. We also had a later flight to CLE ( but flew in and out of Fort Lauderdale) so we rented a car for the day and drove up the coast stopping along the way wherever we wanted. Your day sounded more relaxing!

Good morning! I just finished reading this great review. Thank you! I woke up early this morning and was feeling sad because I was supposed to fly to Miami tomorrow to board the Magic on Sunday. The Fantasy was my last cruise in Nov from Mobile. My Mom and I had a great time. Thanks again; hope you, Patty, and Ryan are well. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hi, I'm going to Progresso in Nov - 1st time there. What do you see on the bus tour?
-
Thank you for the great review. I will be on the Magic this time next year.

Hi, on my last 2 cruises (Dream and Victory) we asked for twice a day, ice, extra hangers, and extra towels. No problems either time. The towel animals, which we love, came with the morning service.

Great question! I really liked my Dream cruise overall; but another favorite is the Pride. Looking forward to the Fantasy this fall and the Magic next year.

Hi, thanks for the review. My next cruise this November is on the Fantasy. Can't wait!

I really enjoy the chocolate muffins and grits at breakfast, the garlic bread, and the hot chocolate.

Very nice video! Thank you!

Great job on the review! Sounds like your family had a great time.

Hello! I will be in Cozumel next week and wanted to know how late the stores at the port stay open? I will be on the Carnival Victory. We won't arrive until 12 pm. I'm :)trying to plan a snorkeling excursion which is 3 1/2 hours long starting at 1:30. Will the stores be open after dinner? We have 1st seating at 6pm. Thank you!

How do you get from FLL to the water taxis? Thank you!

I thought I read somewhere that Carnival has a Halloween theme night on every cruise in October. Is this correct?
Thanks, going on the Victory Oct 8th.

We went on the Spirit in 2023 (end of August). I liked the ship and the sights. Ship is a little smaller than others, but I liked the layout and the service was always good. We had an ocean view on deck 1 mid, which worked well for us. The weather was cool, just some rain at night and in Juneau. There were some in the covered pools and hot tubs. Food was fine. Overall, a rather quiet cruise and early nights and early mornings than I prefer or are used to. Tracy Arm was my favorite day, followed by Skegway ( we did the train ride). Happy to answer any questions I can for you.
