Got all checked in on the new app and went to the "Journey" tab and it has us boarding a week early! It even has the daily schedule. So I called and the CSR assured me that we are boarding the following week and the APP IS WRONG! She said what I see on the website with my booking number is correct. I hope so! Wow.  Scary.

Unable to log in here too. Changed password and it didn't help. Booking number did though. 

Thanks for the re-assurances everybody! I printed out our approval emails and have them on iCloud so we should be good if there are any questions. I have a disorganized mind and have made some big travel mistakes in the past so am paranoid but still trying! lol.

We are flying to Sydney, doing a Princess Land Tour then boarding for a Princess cruise around New Zealand with port calls. The Princess fine print says visas are required for both countries. 

We found the easy "evisa" sites and completed the applications for tourists. We were notified via email they were approved. Other than that we received no paperwork. Will customs know we have visas when we arrive? Does it pop up on their screen when they scan our passport?

I take my Canon binoculars with the electronic stabilization. Even though they are not as powerful as some, the steady scene lets me see a lot more. Plus they are small enough to fit in a coat pocket.

1. What is provided for free?

2. Per the beverage price spreadsheet on this forum, they charge for bottled water and juice, correct?

3. On our last cruise, we could get free coffee, tea and water at a self service counter, is that still true?

4. Looks like all cocktails and non alc drinks are $10 or less, correct?

5. So it looks like for the Premier Beverage Package at $69/day, that's about 7 or 8 drinks of all kinds a day per person, right?

So it looks like if we want juice and coffee at breakfast, water bottles for exercise, room and excursions, beer at lunch, cocktails at happy hour and wine with dinner and another beer at nighttime pizza (!) it is probably a good deal?

Considering buying the package for a 15 day cruise which will be about $1250 per person.

It says it will count towards a cocktail up to $12. How much are the cocktails? We will be ordering simple ones like well vodka sodas and well or bombay gin and tonics.

We can order one and share it with our spouse, right? Would rather not buy two cards.

Any other tips?

We would love to take a world cruise but are a little apprehensive about cruising through the Middle East/Suez Canal. Seems like cruise ships would make great targets for terrorists. Are we just lucky so far? Are cruise ships escorted? Am I too paranoid? We are experienced international travelers and have never had any worries till this occurred to me. Thanks!
