DH and I enjoyed a lovely day yesterday - Jan 7. at Beach Limerz.  Gail is an absolute treasure - warm, hospitable and very gracious. Waitress Mel met us right off and was equally charming.  Beach is quiet, bar is nice, food is good, drinks are great.  Can highly recommend this and can't wait to return.  One thing tho - the "authorized" taxi drivers would not take us there - kept insisting the place didn't exist.  We walked a couple blocks past the usual taxi hawkers and found someone who knew where to go and was most helpful.  A short 10min ride from the pier!

DH would love to try some of the fishing around St. Lucia.  Given that we arrive at 8am, most charters probably are not an option.  Does anyone have any experience or recommendations.  This would be for Jan. 9  - Thank you

Will be following this thread - Hoping to find a good beach location for our cruise stop in January and this looked good until I saw the previous reviews of heavy surf.

It's not a 2 bottle rule. It's one per person age 21 and over. And must be carried on.

Sorry - I meant two bottles for DH and myself :) It was his that got confiscated - just sayin :)

Just returned on the Splendor. Packed one bottle of wine in check-in, and carried on one on in carry on. No problem at all with carry on - Bottle in the check-in was removed and discarded. Apparently the two bottle rule relates only to carry on. Be sure to read the fine print.
