We are currently on Celebrity Apex and there are Gay folks EVERYWHERE...you will have no problem finding like minded folks to talk with...

Does there seem to be a fair amount of single guys 🤞

hopefully to chat with and more 😉

(my bad).  Yes I know it’s not an Atlantis cruise.

  2. Their trips look to be a lot of fun. I would love to go on her Greek Islands tour this summer. Would love to hear any feedback from people who have gone as solo travelers on Vacaya.

is it easy to meet other  solo travelers and to be able to enjoy some companionship with them

  3. Have never traveled so long on any cruise. In the past I have been with family and at that time was married to it lady.   Very concerned about being on a cruise and not finding a social circle. As an older single man over 60, I am hopeful that there will be people to meet at the meet up’s.
hopefully somebody that I can have some fun with either for meals, excursions, or just hanging out.  perhaps even more if the situation occurs.

I guess I have some inhibitions since I have not been in a single situation since about age 30.   Need to shed my inhibitions

  4. All the reviews look very nice. I am booked for March 26. Look forward to sailing. I would ahead and booked aqua class. I did not hear any by making mentions about being up on that area.
going is a solo traveler so this will be a new experience for this me.

Looking at airfare leaving Fort Lauderdale. How much time do you think I need to allow?  what time did they let you disembark? And what’s the earliest you think you can get to the airport?

would you pack lighter since my cabin has laundry provided?

  5. I went ahead and booked celebrity.

march 26th - April 2.  Now the wait and excitement begins.

Denman, I appreciate all the advice that you gave.  Your comments regarding less kids on celebrity sealed the deal.

now I hope that I will have a great time as a solo Traveler.

My friends currently on the Apex tell me there are only 1147 Passengers onboard the current sailing, a nearly 1:1 ratio of staff to passengers.  The capacity of the Apex is 2,910. They also said there were 14 that came to the LGBTQ+ meeting tonight.

How was the Apex I am looking at perhaps a cruise the end of March on that vessel. Is the crew very gay friendly.

  7. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a cruise. Just wanting to get away. The rates for single travelers during March seem to be pretty economical.

I assume almost any cruise I would take there would be some nice gay boys to get to know. Hopefully.

so now I’m trying to decide on the following cruise lines

    Royal Caribbean,

    celebrity

    NCL

All three of them have very attractive rates for the week of March 19. Can leave either from South Florida or San Juan. Most difficult thing is finding good airfare to San Juan.

seems to all be expensive from the Midwest that week.

which cruise line do you think would be best for a single gay traveler?

  8. Newly divorced guy. The last cruise I was on was as a married man to a lady. Would like to go cruising.

I saw in another thread on this topic that a lot of ships have reduced their single supplement costs.   What is your experience spoon now that Covid is winding down.  Are the cruise lines hungry for the single traveler and treat them fairly with single supplement pricing?

    2nd part of question:

since I am not out yet I don’t have a lot of gay friends. But most definitely would feel comfortable going to any of the meet and greets on the ship.   Has anybody else ever been in this situation in were the people welcoming at these meet and greets.

i’m an older guy.  early 60s.

Open to Caribbean cruises, European cruises, and Mediterranean cruises.

  9. Has anybody taken a small companies trip like this one. They mainly use sailboats and catamarans.    Seems like it would be fun and a bit more intimate. Not sure if it would be good for a single traveler? Hard to find reviews on trips like this.
    GaySail Exclusive and GayNudeSail Exclusive:

they look interesting as their small groups. This is a statement from their website.
