Hi everyone! I decided to launch a visual version of the Princess CD/ED list here for the visual learners and it can be found here: https://airtable.com/shrgry4ieUZ0p31qZ/tblG4mVF0lHDjW5po?blocks=hide
I am the only one who maintains this, so it won't necessarily be any more accurate than the table posted above, but it's another way to stay updated and can be bookmarked for easier access. And of course, it helps put a face to a name!
For those of you who cruise Carnival, you may be aware that they run a list of their cruise directors that is publicly accessible (https://airtable.com/shrxzucqLGHbpDmm8/tblZJCAW6us7UhDmZ?blocks=hide) and I took inspiration from that to make this list concept that we currently have, more informative and visual.
Please let me know what you all think and if you have any questions. I hope this can help some of you out in satisfying your curiosity/plan whatever you need, although remember that schedules are always subject to change! Happy cruising!
This is great! Saves me from having to google the names of those I don’t know. Nicely done!

Haha! I never knew this, but makes sense! (Gluten free too). 😜

Very nice furniture! Thank you for posting!

What type of balcony furniture is there and how much? I saw a pic once which showed just the standard 2 chairs with ottoman and small table that is on most balconies. It looked anemic in such a large space. Have they added any more?

Matt is definitely the best!!!

Yes both passengers and crew get dressed up! It’s a ton of fun with lots of Halloween activities, costume parade, contests, decorations. I brought a costume and was glad I did!

I believe the fine print states something along the lines of “Princess Cruises shall pay the daily gratuity on the passengers behalf” when the “free gratuities” are offered as part of a promotion. And they do show up as paid on your folio.

I love Bavarian night too! Last October on the Star Princess they even had a German beer available!
-
I love the Royal Princess class ships - I’m anxious to see the tweaks and changes on the Sky, Enchanted and Discovery.

I think “water shuttle” is easier for people who are not experienced cruisers to understand. Just like “Guest Safety Assembly” vs the traditional “muster drill”.

Thank you for sharing! I saved lots of Patters and other items over the years, but I don’t have any menus!

The larger ships are no longer allowed to dock in Venice. I believe the Pacific Princess is the only ship in the fleet that is still allowed?

The Regal Princess has a forward pool that is adults only and more serene. The main pool area is as described in the post above with Movies Under the Stars at night, concerts and movies during the day, DJs, bands during certain hours. There are also fountains with light show that do a nightly show. Once a cruise there is a big deck party. There is also a small plunge pool aft.

Personally, I enjoyed Good Spirits on the Royal Princess. The videos they screen pertain to the drink they are mixing. If someone orders a “Sandia En Fuego” drink, the camera shows the bartender mixing the drink while he describes what he is doing. Then they screen a video from one of the destinations that inspired the drink. It’s entertaining to watch, but if you are there with friends it’s easy to tune out.

It’s called “High Seas Heist”. I’ve seen it on the Caribbean Princess. I’m not sure if there is only one version or multiple outcomes. I don’t remember seeing it on the Royal Princess in April, so I’m not sure if it will be fleet-wide or select ships?

We were on Marina Deck as well. M424 and M429. The balconies are angled and larger than normal. No noise from the bar. Since the bar overhangs the side of the ship, the balcony is covered from above.

Yes, I’ve stayed in Mini-suites under the Skyview Bar two times. We didn’t hear any noise from the bar.

Thanks for sharing this!

It’s never crossed my mind, but I could see that some folks might be concerned.

Yes, this is typical staffing on Princess. My one and only cruise on Holland America, I was shocked there was only a Cruise Director and one assistant. I’ve only cruises on Princess since, a big factor being the variety of daily activities and entertainment.

I did a crossing on the Riviera (sister ship to Marina) 5-6 years ago. The ship is beautiful, service is great and the food is outstanding. The ship also handled the sea well. That being said, for my taste there just wasn’t enough to do. I enjoy the activities and entertainment on Princess, and I’ve grown accustomed to that. Princess is still my cruise line of choice. I don’t think you can go wrong with either one - but wanted to put in my 2 cents!

I did the UST on the Star Princess and Royal Princess, and received the same swag as mentioned in the previous posts. It’s fascinating and informative - I would do it again!

I would be very disappointed if Zumba were not offered. It’s one of the things I look forward to on every Princess Cruise! It’s always a very popular activity. My bet is that the onboard instructor was injured or otherwise unavailable.

Try typing into your browser : Coral.Princess.com
I think that should get it back. There is also usually a brief explanation on the front page of your embarkation day Princess Patter.
Hope that helps!

I would take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Personally, I feel that Princess delivers an outstanding product at a good price and have been sailing with them since 1993.
