We did this tour last February. It included a slow cruise by Lover's Beach and adult beverages. There were whales all around. The most difficult part was walking around the boat. Find a seat or stand next to a rail and hold on. This is a great excursion. No one was sea sick as everyone was too excited watching the humpbacks.

I have the new app installed and allows me to do everything except make a dining rez. We're 74 days out until our Panama Canal cruise on the Ruby. The app always shows 'can't load the content '. We're elite and have the premier package. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but still no luck. I've also changed my PC password. Any work arounds discovered?

Slowest or longest dining time is the first night as PAX adjust to life ar sea. Usually a short wait even with a reservation that first night. After that allow 90 minutes if wine and desserts are ordered. Make your reservation accordingly if there is a must attend event. Our next cruise next March with the Premier package hopefully will take the anxiety factor out of making the Princess Theater shows with the seating option.

We are going on the March 23rd sailing starting in Ft. Lauderdale and ending in LA. We sailed the Ruby years ago and wanted to sail with her again. Really enjoyed the layout. We booked a cabin on the Caribe deck which has a larger hybrid balcony, half covered and half open.

It pops out from through the bottom. Try rotating the medallion slightly and it can be popped out. I have more difficulty inserting the medallion, as it has to be oriented a certain way so it doesn't pop out unexpectedly.

Cosmopolitan made with Patron tequila instead of vodka. If Fátima or her crew in the Good Spirits makes it, all the better.

The first night in the MDR was a marathon. We had a 6:30 Rez and didn't finish until 8. Our waiter seemed to have a disconnect between courses and providing ground pepper, rolls and mixed up the salad. Thankfully after the first night it got back on track.

I hope my doses of pneumonia vaccines kick in if I get caught in the draft. HVAC control knob is iffy at best in the cabins. It takes me most of a cruise to get it right, either too cold or too hot. Get well soon, physically and financially.

First cruised on The Star on a Mexican Riveria cruise over ten years ago and next month embark on a 12 day round-trip from San Pedro to Alaska. Enjoyed a wonderful family cruise to Hawaii on the Golden. Absolutely loved the happy hour in Skywalker's every afternoon. We will miss those ships.

Passengers are being allowed to disembark from the ship. Fire officials say it will be 8 - 9 hours before the fire is extinguished.

There is a major fire in the Port of Los Angeles (san Pedro) this morning. It may impact the disembarkation and embarkation of today's California Coastal cruise. If you are picking someone up or leaving today, please allow yourself some extra time. As usual it was caused by a welder. Lots of thick acrid black smoke in the area sure to bring out the lookie-lous.

No it is rather painless. On the Golden to Hawaii in April we brought on 8 bottles of wine and it took less than 5 minutes to have the bottles stamped and to pay the corkage (charged to the room) fees. We also found that the 6 bottle canvas like carriers given for free by the grocery stores makes it very easy to transport the wine.
