  1. We will be on a Princess cruise in Dec.   Has anyone snorkeled in Granada within the last year or so?

Excursions offered are:1) underwater sculpture park  and Flamingo Bay with lunch & beach time at Morne Rouge

We snorkeled at the underwater sculpture park about 6-7 years ago and found it to be a poor site for us in comparison with the Champagne Reef in Dominica or anything in Bonaire.   Would love to hear about recent experiences.

  2. Are there some glass bottom boat tours that could be obtained when getting off the ship?  or some to book prior to arrival?  not through the cruise line.

Over 20 years ago we took a cruise that included the Cayman Islands.   At that time, it was easy to go to the end of the pier and find a tour.    I know that things have changed and so would like to have recent experiences.

  3. We've done the Champagne Reef three times and enjoyed it all three times. Instead of staying with the"pack" , we went around on our own

Seacow in Bonaire was fantastic. Grenada excursion offered by Princess was very nice. Snorkeled around the skunked sculptures and then had time to swim and relax at a beautiful beach.

  4. Will be on the Emerald Princess in December with stops in St. Thomas, Aruba, Grenada, Dominica, Bonaire and Prince Cays. Would like to hear about recent snorkeling excursions as last year we were disappointed in our St. Thomas and Aruba excursions as we found the sites were short on coral and fish (but not on people.) Princess Cays was still good and in Curacao we very much enjoyed our excursion.

Experienced snorkelers-- what good snorkeling excursions have you taken recently? Have you been to Trunk Bay when there are three cruise ships in port?
