We did the clamshell last time. Honestly, if we sail Princess again, we'll probably just stay on board that day and enjoy a mostly empty ship.
-
We have sailed on The Crown three times and it's a fine ship, my favorite Princess ship as a matter of fact and we have been on most of them. Most recently about a year ago.

Brilliant!
We do the same thing! I dress for dinner (we dress up every night) and then wait for her in the cigar lounge. She arrives looking ravishing and always finds a way to let me know what's under the new dress. I never know what she'll be wearing. We pretend we're meeting for the first time!

:loudcry:I forgot my brand new tuxedo! Brought a suit by accident as they were next to each other in the closet. I was so disappointed.

Dredging up my old post so it might help others. This problem lingered through at least half a dozen cruises, but last time I just said enough is enough and did it. It was all mental. Every time I started to gag, I just stopped and breathed. Didn't give in to it. Eventually I stopped thinking and had a great time! It was 100% fear.

Explore the ship if it is new to us so we don't spend the week lost. It also allows us to find the little nooks and crannies that all ships have and that most people don't know about.
-
The lady with big ums that insisted on wearing see through shirts the entire cruise while her husband proudly showed her off.
Eh. Probably my wife and I. She cuts loose on vacation!
-
A woman continually screaming at her husband about how horrible the cruise was. For seven days you heard her all over the ship. "Can you BELIEVE this Morty! I've never been so offended in my life!"
-
Sounds like a horrible time. Buy out his half and go with a friend.
-
Just go to the Princess website and book your cruise. It's that simple. You'll thank me later. Have a great trip!

Late dining, fixed table is the way to go. You eat so much during the day that early dinner isn't enjoyed. With anytime dining you lose the fun of having the same waiters every time. I'd suggest a table for eight, where you can meet and socialize with new people. It would be good for the teenagers too. We have cruised ten times with Princess and after much trial and error have settled on this. Whatever you choose you will love Princess.
-
Ten cruises. Eight direct with Princess, always flawless. The two with a T.A. were a mess. Never again. Calling Princess direct solves all problems. The TA always sat on them.

No responsibilities No schedules. Of course we're different. That's why we go! We dress up for every meal, not just formal nights. We talk to strangers. We hold hands, We have public displays of affection. We drink during the day. We have desert before dinner. No technology!! I'm so sad to see half the Lido deck staring into their phones. We never turn on the TV. It's great to be different!

Hahahaha! We found out the hard way (pun intended) that there was a camera on our balcony. After some reindeer games, on the last night we found it. Oh my.[/QUOT
If they chased down everyone they caught enjoying themselves on those cameras they'd have to double the staff. We just got off the Crown last week and kept those cameras rolling all over the ship!

Orient Beach on the French Side is the highlight of every cruise. Of course, we're nudists!

We took our first cruise ten years ago, and chose Princess because of The Love Boat. Ten cruises later, they have done nothing to lose our business. I see no reason to experiment. Plus, the rewards add up over time.

We take the list of bars that they give us at boarding.(You're supposed to have a drink at each one and get a stamp to win a prize). We have some adult entertainment (screaming orgasms and slippery nipples aren't just cocktails you know) at each one with the goal of course to complete the list! We always do!
-
I eat 7 or 8 meals a day. Dieting is for before and after!
-
The Princess eggplant parmagiana. Came out perfect.

I hope it's mental but I'm afraid it may be physical. I've tried dry runs and still can't breath with the mask.
-
The second I put on the mask, which also covers my nose of course, I can no longer breathe through my mouth. I start choking and gasping. I am an otherwise normal person. I would love to be able to join my family on snorkeling excursions, but just can't do it. Any advice?

You can see out to sea, just not straight down. The lifeboats hang just below. If they are giving you a bargain, take it. Spend the savings on the Sanctuary, which was the best part of the otherwise very disappointing Regal.
