Awesome pictures of 9201. I will be in 9201 on the Valor in August. Can't wait, I saw a video of the room on youtube, looks very spacious and great views. the curtains are relatively loud when moving them up and down though....Still excited...I will be looking forward to more updates on this room! :)

We have been on the Valor a few times which ports are you going to?

We are going to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. This cruise is out of San Juan. I am excited, just don't know much about the Valor and Carnival. Only been on NCL.

Has anyone been on the Valor? I am booked for next summer. the itinerary is the main reason we picked it; 7 days southern Caribbean. But the Valor, how is it? I didn't see anybody talk good or bad about it, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everybody. It would be me, my roommate, our girlfriends and my parents. 4 21 year olds and 2 in their 20's. Will talk it over with the group. Most likely going to look at 3 bedrooms or multiple rooms. We would prefer to be comfortable.

is there any rooms that you may know of that would comfortably fit 6 adults? Im assuming only the 3 bedroom villas?

Thank you for that, i am looking more for gem or dawn. We are going summer 2014, schedules arent our yet but assuming those ships will be doing the bermuda and bahamas/florida. Thank you, will go check out youtube right now.

Can you fit 6 people comfortably in the haven two bedroom suite? It says it sleeps up to 6 but only shows one king bed and a pull out couch. Ant info would helpful.

It is typically 15% on beverages which you buy. There is also a set amount per day for housekeeping ($10 - $12 I believe).

 

Note that you can adjust these if you want to. However, you have to go to the Purser's office to do so. Generally, people tend to leave these in place, unless there is a reason not to.

 

One hint... In the States, when we sign for a charge, we are used to adding a tip on the blank line below the total. Just be advised that the tip has already been added. A friend of mine did this, and it was not till we were halfway through the cruise that she was double-tipping!

Just how much are the automatic gratuities on NCL?

I'm assuming 18%...whatever the % is, is it based on how many drinks you buy?
