Help!  Well my June cruise was cancelled.  Delta will allow me to request a credit voucher on their site.  However, I prefer a refund.   My flight was changed by over 90 minutes and the connecting airport was changed.  So I assume I am entitled to a refund.  Of course, I cannot reach anyone by phone.   

     

    Do I cancel my flight and get E-Credits and then try to get a refund?  Or keep trying to reach them.   This flight was for 7 people so it is a fair amount of money.   I was only flying Delta one way and Jet Blue the other.  Jet Blue already refunded.

Received refund of my shore excursions, drinks, internet, photos etc on April 22 for my June 7th cancelled cruise.   I cancelled everything in my cruise planner just as soon as I heard the cruise was cancelled.  No refund yet for the actual cruise.  Hoping it comes soon so we can plan something else.  They still owe me over 8k 

  3. We are doing this exact itinerary on the June 7th sailing.   We are staying at the Dreams Miramar the night before (budget).  Will shuttle to pier. 

     

    St. Thomas - Pirate museum and then  Magen's Bay beach

    St Kitts - Ziplining 

    Antigua - Catameran Sail, snorkel and beach excrusion

    St Lucia - booked cosol tours based on recommendations from this site (hope we like it)

    Barbados - The Boatyard

     

    Night after we are staying at Casablanca in old San Juan. We have booked Charlie's Custom Tours to pick us up at dock with our luggage and tour San Juan.  He will drop us off at our hotel.

  4. I got off the Crown last week. I downloaded the app before I left home. I could not figure it out and went to the internet cafe for help. The very first thing they did was delete the app. You just connect to the ships Wifi, open a browser, and you are there! Their wifi will only allow you to go to their site.

     

    I don't understand why they have the app at all.

    App is not needed or even helpful

     

    Put your phone in airplane mode. This will disable wifi so you must manually turn it on. Connect to ships wifi. Open your browser. You should now be on the ships site to access the patter. If not go to your ship.princess.com. Accessing your account will require you to register. All was free and easy. (iPhone)

  6. I was only going on a 4 day coastal cruise with my mother, husband, and daughter. We all boarded happy and healthy. On the second day my mother was having trouble breathing. I called medical and they brought down a wheel chair and took her to the onboard hospital. She had developed a very bad pneumonia in her lung and was not getting enough oxygen. She need oxygen and IV antibiotics. Luckily they did not make her leave the ship. First day charges were $2500. Second and third day were $500 each so about $3500 charged to her credit card.

     

    I did purchase insurance for her in case she were unable to make the trip. I never thought I would need it for medical. I believe Medicare may pay as we were within 6 hours of a US port. (LA, to San Diego, to Ensenada). Do I bill medicare and the trip insurance both? I bought from tripinsurancestore. Is my vacation insurance primary or secondary? Hoping someone can help.

  7. What size table were you seated at? Traditional or anytime?

    When you say slow, how long did it take to complete dinner? 1 1/2 hours is not uncommon.

     

    Traditional early. Table of 4. Waiter assistant did not seem to help. Did not bring ordered drinks all of first dinner even after reminding. Dinner at 5:15. Did not get out before 7. I would have hated to have late dining because I am sure their tables were not ready.

  8. Just got off of the crown. Was not impressed. Dinner service was very slow. Drinks did not arrive. Kids club was rude. Attendant told my daughter she had the hardest job on the whole ship. Never got requested robe. Had a plumbing problem that I called in about and no one ever came. (Resolved itself thank goodness). Tried to order room service three nights in a row after 11pm. No one would answer the phone. Was not aware ship would be walk off. Had assumed we would have porter assistance. They wanted us out of our room with our luggage at 8am to disembark at 10:30. No service at the pool.
