Can anyone help with the schedule for free skating on the ice rink? Days and times it would be available for passengers to skate.

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Renaissance Hotel? The Embassy suites is unavailable for our overnight in November.

Traveling to Sydney April 2017 and I am super excited for our first visit.

So happy that you all have taken the time to make the list of where to go and what to do. Especially with the links attached.

Stayed there about a million years ago, I'm not sure what work they may have done to it since, it wasn't bad, maybe 3 or 3 1/2 stars.

 

Personally I wasn't a fan of the location, but I am limited in how far I can walk.

 

I don't think you will have a view at all, as far as I remember.

 

How long are you staying and where are you cruising to and/ or from?

 

We are staying 4 nights before we sail on the Voyager and 1 night after Voyager/before Solstice in April 2017. Voyager does primarily Fiji Islands. Solstice to NZ , Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea on the way to Hawaii.

 

We don't want to spend a fortune, but still want something nice, with a good location for seeing the sights of Sydney. We would love to see the Harbour from our room, even if we have to crane our necks to see it.

I really have a lot to learn about the area and what to see and do while there. I love any and all input/advise that you and anyone else wishes to share.

Were you able to get a good view of the eclipse tonight? We were thinking that from the ship, out at sea, the view must be terrific without the city lights.

My friend has registered with RCCL for her honeymoon cruise. Gift cards can be purchased for different amounts and for different things (eg: spa, drinks, tips, tours, etc). Does anyone know if the gift cards can be purchased on board the ship. We are sailing in a few weeks and I would like to purchase the gift card on board JOS and be able to give it to her as a shower gift when we return.

Hi Zay. Loving your review and the good tips that you have shared. We are sailing the Jewel March15 and 22, 2014. Can't wait to hear more. Interesting to know that each week can have a different "feel" to it based on your dining partners and other travelers that you have contact with.

Hi Trainman. I have been enjoying your trip. My DH & I and other friends are on this trip from Ft Lauderdale in March 2013. I have learned so much from you. Thank You. Can you tell me if any of your friends on board visited Isla de Tortuga today while in Puntarenas? If so, can you tell me how they went about booking a tour and who they used? RCCL doesn't seem to offer this trip and it seems to me to be a great day. Catamaran to a white sand and clear blue water beach, nice lunch and very relaxing.
