  1. Hi! We just booked a cruise with Celebrity (Summit) that leaves next Sunday! We are not new to cruising, but we have never sailed on Celebrity. We have done Carnival, NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Princess. Are there any major differences we need to be aware of on Celebrity or new, exciting things we should be looking for?? We don't have much planning time, so look forward to hearing from anyone who has experience on multiple cruise lines to fill us in! Thanks in advance!

  2. We have been on lots of cruises, but will be on our first RCCL cruise in a few weeks! My hubby would like to know where it is permissible to smoke cigars. We will be on the Granduer soon & are booked on the Oasis in December, so would love to know about these 2 ships in particular. Thanks for any help!

  3. We have recently turned Platinum on NCL and see that we receive free meals as a perk. If we are not interested in using the free meals, can we give them to friends we are traveling with or do we just lose them? Thanks for any help you can offer!

  4. Just wondering if anyone has done the shore excursion in Amber Cove, Dominican Republic that is called "Give Back with Purpose-Community Tour". We are considering it and would like to know what and how many school supplies/gifts would be appropriate to take for the visit to the orphanage/school.

  5. Brianna, I am so saddened to read of your dad's passing. I don't know you personally, but feel as though you are a friend from reading all your cruise reviews. It was so obvious what a great relationship you and your dad had and how much you enjoyed spending time together. I'm glad to see that you have decided to go on your cruise next week....it seems to me that your dad would want you to go and have the best time possible! Thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom as you go through this heart breaking time. Remember all the good times!

  6. I agree 100%! If, or when we ever decide we want something more elaborate and are willing to pay more, then there are other cruise lines to book. For now, as long as we have food, a bed, sunshine, and friendly crew, we are happy cruisers and absolutely love the price tag on Carnival!!
