  1. I recall being able to view which staterooms have balcony partitions that can be opened in order to share the balcony between the 2 rooms. I thought this was something I could find on the cruise deck plans site. However, I tried to view this information recently and don't see it anymore. I am imaging this feature? Is it available on a different website?

  2. how long did it take

I made a payment with my card on 01/12 and a separate payment with my husband's card on 01/14. Here's what the activity looks like in my account:

Jan 17 CARNIVAL CRUISE LINEMIAMI -$100.00

    Jan 16 CC79:0003 5% BACK ON ELIGIBLE TRAVEL -$25.00

Jan 14 CARNIVAL CRUISE LINEMIAMI FL $500.00

Jan 13 CARNIVAL CRUISE LINEMIAMI -$100.00

    Jan 13 CC79:0003 5% BACK ON ELIGIBLE TRAVEL -$25.00

Jan 12 CARNIVAL CRUISE LINEMIAMI FL $500.00

I didn't actually see the credits show on my account on the dates they are shown as posting. I think I actually saw them on my account the day after those dates.

  3. I was successful in making two separate payments using my card, then my husband's authorize user card. I received two $100 statement credits, each posting just a few days after the charges. I also received two $25 statement credits stating "5% back on eligible travel" so technically on $1000 in payments, we were credited back $250.00!! Won't find savings that high and that easy any other way. I'm thrilled.

  4. I just checked my AMEX account, since I didn't get the confirmation email stating I redeemed the offer (I usually see those pretty quickly). The offer is showing as redeemed!! I'm sure I'll see it on my next statement. Now to make another payment with the hubby's card this weekend. I'll have to call in for that one so our PVP can add in our prepaid gratuities to put up back up to the $500 mark. Yay for a quick $200 savings!!

  5. We are sailing with a group of about 36 family and friends in July. There are several Kids with us and we would like to utilize the youth programs (Camp Carnival/Camp Ocean). Here is the caveat. My son will be 5 at the time and thus places him in a separate group from the rest of his cousins sailing with us who are all a older than him (a few only by 1 year). Is there a way they would allow my son to move up into the group with his cousins? Is this something I have to check into after we board or is there a way for me to enroll him in a different group through our online account?

  6. I made a $500 payment using my card about 3 hours ago. I still haven't received a confirmation email saying I used the offer, but I won't get too nervous. Just going to give it a few days. Once I see that credit confirmation, I'll make another payment using my husband's card.

When I paid, I didn't use the "redeem now" link in the offer. I didn't think to do that. I hope it still goes through even though I went directly to the Carnival website to make the payment.

  7. We booked our Vista cruise in December 2015. We got the credit x2 since we added it to both our cards. I'm not sure why they add those terms. It doesn't seem to matter when you book or what you spend the money on.

Great, thanks for the reply. Do you have separate accounts with AMEX or is one of the cards an authorized user on the first account? I ask because the AMEX account is mine and my husband is an authorized user on the account with his own card and log in as a user. The offer was found under my log in and his, so I hoped we'd be able to double dip. We owe $915.00 on our cruise, so I was going to go online and make one $500 payment with my card. Then I was going to call to have gratuities added and pay the other $500 with my husband's card.

  8. Yes, you can use both credits as long as the your two cards are separate accounts. My husband has his own AE and I have mine own and we both made a payment on our cruise that we booked back in November and we both received $100 credit!

Thanks for the response. He is actually an authorized user on my account, so he has a card with his name on it. His card has different numbers through. I wonder if it would still work.

  9. I have this offer on my AMEX Blue Cash Everyday and it's on my hubby's AU card. I was reluctant to try it because we booked our cruise back in February and the way the offer reads it appears it wouldn't apply. However, after reading so many posts of successful credits, I'm going to make a payment tomorrow. Can anyone confirm whether or not we'd be able to get the credit on both cards since we have the offer on both?

  10. Looks like it doesn't have to be a new booking just that the booking has to be made within the window of 10/14/16 - 4/14/17 as per the first line in the terms. This is how it comes off to me anyway. Hopefully someone that has had the offer go through will chime in.

Gosh, didn't even notice the beginning date of 10/14/16. Hoping someone else might post with some other data points. We booked way back in February, so if that's the case then it wouldn't work out for me. Hubs had the offer on his card too so I was really hoping to be able to get $200 credit.

  11. Yay, I have this offer on my Blue Cash Everyday card. Going to have to check to see if it's on my husband's AU card also. Can anyone confirm, does the credit apply if you are just making a payment on your cruise and not booking a new one? Reading the terms of the offer, it looks like it's just on new bookings, but I'd like to make a payment on a currently booked cruise for July 2017.

  12. My family is booked for a July 2017 cruise with a group of family and friends that is now at about 36 people. Several of us are interested in doing one of the 3 Chankanaab Park dolphin excursions available there. There are also several people in our group who want to come along (mostly grandparents wanting to watch the kiddos with the dolphins), but don't actually want to partake in the dolphin activities. My mom was told by a Carnival rep there is an observer ticket those people can buy that would include just the transportation to and from and admission to the park to observe.

Does anyone have experience with this. Would those observers still be able to pay for a lunch/drinks if they choose to do so. What about the beach area? Those of us booking the dolphin excursion will have some time at the beach. Would that be included with just the observer ticket also?

Then there are some talking about doing the All Inclusive Beach Day at the same park. However, they weren't sure if they would be able to observe us doing our dolphin activities. I'd really appreciate anyone's insight on this, as we are trying to book this excursion pretty soon.

  13. Can anyone tell me if there is a certain window of time during which you are able to select your time slot for staggered check in? I'm coordinating a cruise for a pretty large group of family and friends and I'm working on emailing them info on things they need to do and need to know. This is my first time cruising since they have established the staggered check in. I want to include info on this so I went online to view how it works. When I view my cruise details I don't see an option to select a check in time. I'm wondering if it's because our cruise is July 22, 2017 and possibly this option is not available yet. Any insight?

  14. Emailed Carnival about my issue with our price being increased instead of reduced. Finally got it all sorted out yesterday and my account shows $50 OBC. And what do you know, I check prices today and see that our rate has dropped another $40. The fare itself actually dropped $50, but the taxes and feed increased by $10. Still happy with another $40 though! Submitted another ES form. Hoping to see more OBC in my account within the next few days.

  15. I submitted a form on Monday for a $50 price drop for our stateroom. Not much, but at least it's something. Well, I have been checking online just to see if the OBC has been posted to our account since we've already paid in full. To my utter surprise, when I checked today, it's not showing they increased our fare by $70 and there is no OBC to be found. Called my PVP today and he said he has no idea what happened and suggested I fill in another form with today's rate. Today's rate is higher than it was on Monday. We booked ES and I feel we are entitled to the $50 OBC. He said all he can do is forward the issue to his supervisor. I told him I'd give them a few days and call back on Monday. I know they are swamped, but we sail on April 7th so I'd like to get this cleared up soon. Not sure if there are any other avenues I can take to take care of this. I'm so bummed right now.
