This is what we want to do on our upcoming cruise. With the new travel warnings from US government, I wonder if it is a safe walk?
-
Is it still safe to walk there from the ship with the new travel warnings?

I’m looking for a beach close to port Ocho Rios. Any suggestions?
-
Are there USB ports at the “head” of the bed on Sunrise?
-
Thank you

Carnival gave us a free bottle of wine when we ate in the steakhouse last year (2018). Are they still doing this?

Thank you for the information.

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions, I ‘m sure I can get one to work. I assumed there isn’t one on one side because of a floor plan I saw. We’ve been on this ship many times but all previously balconies. Hopefully, I’ll be surprised & it will be ok!

We will be on the Fascination in an ocean view.. I see there is no bedside table on the side next to the window. Any suggestions on creating something to hold a few things? Thanks

Does anybody know what the Honeymoon dinner on Carnival is? It’s included in one of the wedding packages.

We've been on the Fascination 4 times. Since it's a smaller ship you don't have as many places to eat or things to do as the larger ships but still there is plenty! The staff is always great! We've had both types of dining seating and always had great service. We cruise either with family or just the two of us to relax, this ship has hosted both successfully. You will have a great time, enjoy!

Our grandson went on his first cruise on his one year BD with the family. It was daddy's first also. I researched these boards for info & got a lot of useful info. We took a stroller that folded up like an umbrella but still reclined enough that he was able to take a nap in. This worked out well for off and on the ship. The crew loves little ones, so they make a fuss over them. He went to the dining room every nite & had his BD celebration with 1st chocolate cake, which was hilarious! Camp Carnival has certain times a parent can take child & play with them, check with them when you board, I forget when they do this. Our daughter acknowledged it was a much different cruise for her, but she still enjoyed it, son in law loved it & has been on board for more. Baby slept great, due to rocking of boat! They did do build a bear, although an older cousin did most of the building, but he enjoyed that activity. It was a great vacation, even tho he won't remember, the rest of us always will! So have fun, a cruise is what you make it!

My sister refused to get a wheelchair or scooter before the cruise, despite my insistence that she would need it. She found out she did need it after 2 days on the ship, luckily she was able to rent a wheelchair on the ship, but as others said I wouldn't count on it. A 90 year old, that was traveling with us, did rent a scooter & it made his experience so much better! I want one, those are some long walks on the ship!

Great review!! Thanks for the laugh this morning. Love your description of the dining room. The cruise we took on the Miracle was my favorite cruise so far and the decoration & design of the ship are memorable! Also, what books have you written, I'm always looking for humorous reads!

Go gettum', I'd be really mad too!

We have sailed on Fascination 4 times, not this itinerary. We have enjoyed all trips. We've stayed in the veranda Jr.suites & love the location. The balcony overlooks the lido deck & even tho this might seem like a privacy problem, it's surprising how few people seem to go by. We are both in our 60's and don't feel like the venues are lacking, but we've been on 12 Carnival cruises & enjoy them to relax. Our favorite cruise was on Miracle, was visiting St Lucia, St Kitts & St Martin, but also had 4 sea days(my fav). It was the ports & sea days, not the ship that made it my favorite. I do hope to do that trip sometime when we can stay in San Juan before or after the cruise. I always feel like a cruise is what you make of it!

Does this seem to occur certain times of the year?

We were on board with you, that was a perfect review. Thanks for posting.

I want to plan a Disney cruise for my family, but especially my grandson, who is now 4. What age do you think is best for appreciation and remembering the special Disney experience?
-
Our last cruises they left an order sheet in the cabin, you just fill it out & give it to your cabin steward, he will deliver to you. Eazy Peazy!

We usually stay at Residence Inn & we thought the one in Pt. Canaveral was the nicest one we've stayed.

Food on Pride in January was all good. I’m always glad when someone cooks for me!
