  1. Considering booking a cruise to Caribbean and Cuba for next year. We will be flying into Miami to commence the cruise which will include Cuba. We'll be booking flights and cruise ourselves. How do we get visas for Cuba? Also the cruise is 2 back to backs and will be in Havana twice over the 2 weeks so do we need a new visa each time we dock at Havana?

Any other tips or advice in general for this cruise will be welcomed as it's a few years since we did any type of cruise.

  2. We are British and found that we could come and go as we wished. We were never questioned. We did have a private classic car tour booked on one of the days but were never asked about our plans once we got to Cuba. We did have to fill in a form on embarkation that asked if we were doing a tour or making our own plans and a few other options. We were doing several of the options but you could only tick one box. It was all much more relaxed than we were expecting.

We live in the UK and are considering booking a Caribbean and Cuba cruise for next year. May I ask how you got your visa for Cuba please.

  3. You don't indicate which ship/itinerary (specifically - does the itinerary include the USVI? What is the embarkation port?) or where you're booking from. MSC offers different promotions in different regions and drinks packages/prices will vary depending on the region the ship is sailing.

I'm booking from the UK on the Armonia for the Cuba/Caribbean cruise from Miami in 2019. I'm new to this so don't know what USVI means.

  4. Does MSC ever offer a free drinks package?

If not, any advice on whether to book one or pay as we go would be appreciated. It's for a 2 week caribbean and cuba cruise. We like wine with dinner and a drink in the evening.

  5. I'm hoping to book a Cuba and Caribbean cruise with MSC for October 2019. I've noticed that it's much cheaper to book in US dollars than in GB sterling but can't find the website again. First of all, is it possible to book through a US website. Second, can anyone provide a website or does MSC have a US website as opposed to UK?

  6. I hope to book Carnival Splendor for the Bahamas for next November. The price for a balcony and premium balcony is the same for Empress deck category 8B. Can anyone tell me the difference in the two staterooms? Would you lose size in the cabin to have a premium balcony - what is a "premium" balcony? Any advice would be appreciated as I would like to book this tomorrow!! Thanks.
