Just booked this today. I am a senior citizen traveling solo and look forward to meeting other cruisers. I have cruised solo quite a few times, once with HAL and twice with NCL and met some wonderful people through these posts.

I've cruised three times on my own but joined the solo group on Norwegian Pearl in October and met a bunch of great people. I enjoy being on my own except at meal time and we all sat together st two large tables every night and had a lot of fun, I highly recommend it.

I did the Yukon trip too, up on a coach and back on the narrow gauge train and it was worth every penny. Our bus driver had lots of interesting information about the Klondike gold rush. Highly recommend it.

I don't think I will be going into a bidding war for an upsell at any time in the future! Will f free upgrades become a thing of the past?I wonder what they pay the people who come up with all these money-making schemes!

Cruised out of Seattle in August, 2nd Alaskan cruise and it won't be my last! If you visit the space needle please go into the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit which is next door. You will se the most amazing glass sculptures in lots of color combinations. Check it out online for a preview

You'll love Oceania and their dining is five star. Take some magnetic hooks with you, they will stick to any wall and you can use them for extra hanging space.

I go up to the cafe, fill two glasses with water and put it in my insulated container with some ice already provided. I am sure NCL will find a way to stop that if they can. I have a beverage package but bottled water is not included.
