We are going on Fred for the first time in January, can I ask if you take your own Soap powder for the laundry or is it supplied in the price?

As it is our special anniversary we have booked a week with P&O Adonia in a penthouse suite. This will be a first in this type of cabin and we would like to know what to expect of our Butler. Does he unpack for us? And what are his duties involving looking after us? Any advice is very welcome.

I also lost weight to cruise and just back from 16days and stayed the same, top tip for me no bread no red meat just chicken and lots of fish. Stuck to fresh fruit salad most days for desserts but did go for my favourites when on the menu. Not easy with all the temptation. I always took the cabin biscuits and had one at coffee and one at tea, better than the scones and cakes! Good luck.

Hi Calloo it is so nice to see somebody else is going on the same cruise
especially as it is quite away off.
Maybe next year we can start a roll call.

We are just looking at Balmoral world cruise, the itinerary is really great. We have only done P&O world cruises but their itineraries are not as good as Fred's. we are just looking at the pros and cons of both.May be taking the plunge with FO as many people seem happy. The TV programme was a bit off putting!

A tip someone told me when you exit a lift you will be facing the rear of the ship, saves you checking which way... Another tip I was given take Dettol wipes, Nova Virus avoidance, wipe down after your cabin steward as his cloth has been used on all the other cabins, I do our door handles as well. We have never had any tummy problems.
