  1. So enjoying this! Thanks for taking the time to do it (even if you're doing it at work-shhhhh!) Quick question you might be able to help with, please: if I'm not mistaken, you have to have 25 sail days under your belt to become gold. Do you already have to have 25 days prior to the sailing, or do they count the days of the cruise you're on? For instance, we currently have 21 days and are taking an 8-day for our next cruise. Will we be gold for this cruise, or have to wait until our next cruise when we'll start with 29 days? Seems silly, I know, but I want that gold card! Thanks again for the review-totally enjoying every second of it and living vicariously though you! - Jennifer

  2. I started a thread about cove balconies and should of just ask here:cool: anyways how many times have you had the door lock? and then someone said they put your table and chairs in your room if it is lock? we will have 4 people in our room so I was wondering if this was true? thanks for this thread I have learned a lot and cant wait to go on the Dream:)

We had a cove last December and they closed up the balcony only one day for a little while to hose down the balconies (I think it was a port day) because we had had some rough seas and they were covered in salt. I do believe the chairs stackable) and table (small) were brought into the room but it was only for about an hour if I'm remembering correctly and we just kept them near the door and out of the main room's way until the balcony was opened back up.

  3. Hi TeamLincoln .... If your username is a clue to where your husband is from, then I'm not far away in "Robin Hood Country" - Nottingham.

It's a shame that I'm gonna miss you because I'm travelling on the 16th November departure :(. As for cricket and football.....well you can tell your husband that we're (England) great at cricket these days (tell him we've just retained 'The Ashes' .... he should know what that means) and we're still struggling to win anything at football, even though we invented it!

I hope you have a great cruise.

    Tim.

Hi Tim-Shame we're going to miss you by just two little weeks. Hope you enjoy your cruise and trip to Orlando. I'll pass on the info about sports updates to the hubby. He's from Knutsford, near Manchester, so you're pretty close to my in-laws, at least by American driving standards, where petrol doesn't cost quite a whole arm and leg! Have a wonderful time!

  4. Hey guys, I'm travelling over from England in November for a few days in Orlando before joining the Dream and looking forward to it after reading this fantastic.

My hubby's an Englishman (living in America), too. He'll be glad to hear he won't be alone among all us American tourists. If you're sailing the same week as us, that is. We board Nov. 2. If so, I'm sure amongst the thousands of passengers, you'll somehow find each other and he'll try to talk cricket and football with you. We'll likely be in the casino bar for at least part of the trip watching whatever game might be on. If we're on the same week, come join us!

  5. We loved our Cove Balcony and will definitey do it again..

I agree! We had one in Dec. of last year & booked another for this Nov. Absolutely loved the privacy and the proximity to the water. I think we're cove converts-will be sad when the Dream moves to New Orleans and is too far to drive for a week's vacation.
