Congrats! We just took an upsell offer on our 4 day cruise that leaves on Thursday. Went from a Deck 1 interior (with 4 people) to a Cloud 9 Spa OV for $150. And we had turned down an upsell for this same cruise about 2 months ago because it was just moving decks, still interior for $175. I was honestly surprised to get the call yesterday. The 1st offer was in our booking confirmation area when you log-in, 2nd was a phone call

When did you sail? Were you able to drop you bags off? We have FTTF this cruise and one of the perks says access to cabin to drop bags until the room is ready. I know pre-C you had full access, not just drop and go.

Is the short form BC acceptable documentation? I’m thinking yes, as it’s a certified copy from the state, but I wanted to double check. Thanks!

There's a Buccee's on my way to work. I really like their taffy, primarily cotton candy flavor with the cinnamon being a close second. The peanut butter trail mix is very good as well.

Bring it for sure. I've taken mine every time and was asked for it for the first time on our last cruise before Covid. It definitely depends on who you get because I had cruised 4-5 times without being asked but that one time they did I was glad I had it

Wait, you can add an additional offer for free casino drinks if you booked under someone else’s offer? For instance we are booked under my mother in law because she got drinks in the casino and $500 OBC whereas my offer was drinks in the casino but just $100 OBC. Since we’re in the same stateroom, I assumed we could only use one offer.

Which cabin would you choose? 7 day cruise just myself and hubby. Currently booked in a porthole room but thinking of switching to an inside on lido deck. The cost isn’t much more to switch but it looks like the PH room may be a bit bigger since it has a couch? Not first time cruisers but have never done any type of inside cabin, always OV or occasional balcony but we’ve always had 4 per cabin with the kids along. We’ve also never had a lido deck cabin which is why I’m thinking of trying that this time. Thanks!

When I've had any issues and couldn't get through to any department other than the one for new bookings, I'd choose that one and when they picked up I told them my issue and asked to be transferred. It always resulted in a quicker response time for me.

Best Western Plus Seawall Inn and Suites offers free cruise parking with stay. We have it booked for it February cruise

I booked 3 rooms here for a pre-cruise stay. I know they advertise free cruise parking and also have a shuttle to port for a fee. Does anyone know if you have to have booked direct to be eligible for the cruise parking? I booked through my hotels.com account as it was cheaper. Thanks!

We have connecting OV rooms booked on the Valor and I was wondering if it’s possible to leave the connecting door open at all times. I know cabins are a tight fit in general so I wasn’t sure if it would cause problems getting around in there if left open.

It’s been a few years since we stayed there but we had no complaints. We are booked to stay again before our cruise in Feb

For those of you who have cruised out of Galveston during Mardi Gras, how was traffic on the island and to the port? I didn’t realize that would be going on when I booked. We were going to stay in Texas City or somewhere similar to save a few dollars but I decided to book a hotel on the island instead when I found out just in case traffic was a nightmare (and surprisingly still found a cheap motel rate) Leaving out on Sat Feb 10th, so just trying to see what to expect.

Just off the Liberty on Thursday and the mini bar was fully stocked and unlocked. We never asked the steward to remove anything since we didn't need the fridge anyway

Are the balconies on the suites different from a standard balcony? The 2 times we've sailed in balcony cabins, they have been plexiglass to be able to see thru.

We cruise in 2 weeks and I was wondering what time the porters start accepting luggage (not asking about check-in times). We have cruised out of Galveston twice before but have always arrived after 10:30 or so, so it wasn't an issue. This time we will be picking up my mom and sister from their cruise and swapping kids prior to our cruise. We want to go ahead and drop our bag off before exploring the area prior to checking in since we will not have a car once we do the swap. Thanks!

I will be on it in about 9 days and will post a review as soon as I get back! Ill keep you posted!
We will be on right after you! Are you sailing the 18th? My mom and sister are on that one!

Anyone else? Would love any and all info!

20 days until the Liberty!

Screen shot the rate you're seeing and have your TA e-mail it to them if needed. I had a similar issue a month or 2 ago. I was eligible for a cheaper casino rate that happened to be the same price as a guarantee rate they had available. Even though I specified I wanted the casino rate, I still got bumped into the gty pool and didn't notice until the next day. Luckily when I called they were able to get me my room back along with the OBC I was owed.

We had ytd with a party of 7 and the wait was never long. Hopefully it will be the same for you guys

We had to call our PVP to check which balconies connected. We did this since we wanted connecting balconies rather than connecting rooms.
-
Yep FTTF had been sold out for our 4/23 cruise for a couple months and just opened back up last week. I just checked a few times a day.

They already called back and got me back into the cabin I originally had. I'm just glad I was poking around in my cruise manager and saw it!
Using multiple payment methods
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Are you able to use more than one payment method on funshops orders? I am planning on getting cheers for our upcoming cruise and I have a carnival gift card that I'd like to use for part of the cost if I can. Has anyone been successful in doing a GC/debit combo?
