We will be flying from Washington DC area to Anchorage, then Vancouver back to Washington in June 2020. Some flights are out now but are extremely expensive. I am hoping they will be going down in price at some point. When would be an optimal time for booking?

May I ask when you booked your flights? We are flying out of Dulles to Anchorage, then Vancouver back to Dulles next June. Flights are available now, but at an outrageous price!!!

Yep. Royal Caribbean.

Did the ship stay on Eastern Standard time while at the ports or switch to local time?

Do you remember how much you paid for your taxi to the airport? There will be just the two of us in January.
Thank you.
There were four of us and the other couple paid the fare. I am thinking they gave him a $20 that included tip.

We took Uber to the Port Everglades but used a taxi/van to go from cruiseport to airport afterward. We had an early flight so self disembarked and went directly to the taxi stand. No wait, boarded a taxi/van and off we went.
We asked our Uber driving who dropped us off about getting Uber after cruise and he said it would be easier to just take the taxi to the airport.

In February we took Uber from our hotel to Port Everglades. I asked about return trip when debarking and he suggested with disembarking it may be easier to just use a taxi...so we did.

February was our second time doing the speed boat excursion with Capt. Bob. It was as great as the first time. Bob's son Brett was our Captain and did a great job taking care of everyone. This is such a fun tour and everything is included.
I would highly recommend this to anyone stopping in St. Maartin.

Does anyone know the availability of an Uber for early morning self-disembark from the Freeedom at Port Everglades?
I plan on using them for airport to hotel, hotel to port, but unsure of using Uber for early trip to the airport for our 10:30 am flight on a Sunday.
Thanks

We are booked at the Clarion Inn on Federal Highway. Our rate is $150.00 tax included. It is Feb. 17th. I booked several months ago after reading a post from Royalcruz stating it was a safe neighborhood. It has gotten some good reviews and is half the price of many other area hotels. Realize it is a motel and not a hotel, but for one night pre cruise it suits our needs.

Thanks for the info. We did table for two My Time last cruise. The tables are very close together. I like the main dining room, but I was not sure it had smaller tables for four.
So my plan will be to take your advice on the email.

Sailing on Freedom of the seas with another couple. We have early(5:30) seating in the main dining room. Can I request a table for 4 through my TA or RC directly? Does the main dining room have tables for 4 or is my best bet to go ahead and request My time dining?

For us in Feb. it was about 35 minutes going to and 45 minutes coming back. It depends on traffic.

This was great. Only 10 or so passengers per speed boat. He runs three boats at a time.
Fab was our captain and he did a great job!
Touring the island on a speed boat going 60 mph, with classic rock music playing was a blast!
Several stops with a nice lunch in a cafe on the beach.
I would highly recommend this tour.

We just did Gecko's ATV two weeks ago. I booked it because they only take 5 ATV's. Well, they only had 2 booked when we were there and the other couple did not show. So, we had a private tour with Jamal.
Very fun way to see the island. Easy to walk to from the pier. They will taxi you back at the end from Rainbow beach, but we just walked the beach back to the ship.
I would highly recommend this tour.

We just did the 12 person sailing with R&R. They were great hosts. Constantly waiting on you with food and drink.
I would highly recommend!

My husband and I are platinum members. Will we each have a set of coupons loaded on our cards or is it one shared book per cabin?
When did you book flights for next June?
in Alaska

I booked in August for flights from Washington DC to Anchorage and Vancouver back to DC. Both of these flights have gone up in price since my booking. I booked early because I wanted specific times.
