I don't know what that space is, but we sailed in 524 on the Riviera deck, Royal Princess, a number of years ago and according to deck plans it has that same open area. We never heard a thing.

I personally would not be offended in the slightest if my cabin mate said he was getting military OBC and was using it for any reason. This Canadian thanks you for your service.

You're likely aware of this board already, but Cruise Fashions and Beauty has lots of interesting (to me, anyway) threads. They're not Princess-specific but I find them informative.

My sincere condolences. Yes, too soon.

... I cut the leg of the hose so that it ends above my knee. My friends and I used to call that "poor man spanx". Lol. Same effect, less money!
I might be wrong, but I sort of remember Oprah talking about doing the same thing lol.

I knew someone was going to mention this ... I would sooner cut off my foot than be in a restaurant and not enjoy dinner rolls or sourdough bread, since we eat very little bread at home.
Lol, to each their own; I feel the same about getting up mid-meal and taking a walk lol. It's good it works for you, though.

I found it! I've been on a mission to find it lol.

I feel either of the black pairs you posted would be absolutely fine in any dining room. The black sandals on the far right are probably the dressiest, but whatever you prefer.

I've never tried a spray tan, what's worried about the colour! How does a spray tan hold up to being in water?
The salon I went to had a range of colours to choose from. I went fairly light; my daughter wanted her money's worth lol so went darker. I found it quite natural looking. We weren't in ocean water so I don't know if that makes a difference, but it lasted for a week or so with lake swimming. Hope that helps 🙂

Maybe not really what you're asking, but last summer I got a spray tan; not the kind where you go into an automated booth, but the kind where a technician hand-sprays you 🙂 I was quite happy with the results.

We were at around 50% a few weeks ago on the Discovery Alaska Sampler on May 4th - 8th. Not sure what it is now. Not everyone wants to sail on a short, cold cruise.
Sorry, that made me laugh. We're in a year that winter doesn't seem to want to let go.

Very helpful, cruisemom42!

Thank you, aungrl; our international travel hasn't been to any of the places known for aggressive pickpocketing, and it freaks me out a bit!

Can I ask about money belts/pouches (sorry OP for piggybacking onto your post); those of you that use them, do you keep your actual money and credit cards in them? What do you do when you want to buy something? I wasn't sure the best way to dig out my stuff.

Adult coloring is kind of fun and very relaxing.
I don't disagree with you. I think my comment came across as rude. I am not sure that I'd want to do this as part of a group thing, but hey, anything on a cruise is a good thing!

Re: jumpsuits; had never worn one before, and bought 2 fancy ones before our last cruise. Found out in a hurry the bathroom issue. My husband had to hang around outside the ladies room and zip me back up 😄

We got off the Royal Princess March 7th, and no one got on after us. Other than handwashing being monitored at the buffet areas, we didn't understand anything major was going on. Until we got to LAX and saw the masks. We aren't like many of you in that we don't cruise often, but as someone previously mentioned, this has been the longest decade of our lives.

I have a top with grommets that sets off alarms, and my last trip I was on the receiving end of a pat-down. Thing is, I may wear it again as it is pretty and part of my comfortable travel outfit haha.

I agree that Geoffrey showed the most growth, and the most potential for developing ideas in the future. I am for sure no designer, but I feel some editorial looks have the potential to translate into more mainstream looks, and that may have appealed to the judges. That black puffer coat was a hoot on Christian, for sure!

We will be finishing our quarantine this Saturday. It's actually been a struggle for us to get into some sort of routine. I have to make myself get dressed in something other than pjs and housecoat (I do it, though). Don't usually wear makeup at home anyway, but have been keeping up with a skin care routine.

Just watched the finale! I think they made a good decision.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but as this is only my 2nd cruise and 1st out of San Pedro, is it obvious where to go when leaving the ship to get an Uber?

Sooooooo...I know this thread is about Project Runway...but I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen Next in Fashion on Netflix? It's another sewing design runway challenge type reality show.
I have them downloaded to watch on the plane and on my cruise this week! I'm sort of scrolling through the comments with one eye closed to avoid any spoilers lol.
Can we talk about this Country Style Pate?

I love pate, but, yikes. Even something about the toast bothers me; looks like something leftover from the breakfast buffet.
