Wine must be carried on; it will be taken out of luggage.
Really? I’ve read so many post of people placing their two bottles in checked luggage. Anyone have first hand experience with this?

On our last cruise, over Christmas, my wife just wrapped our bottles in Christmas wrapping paper and put them in our checked luggage. They made it to the room.
I had no idea I was married to a criminal mastermind.

I mistakenly placed two bottles of wine in my checked luggage, instead of carry on for my husband and I and it made it to our room just fine.

Booking a cruise out of New Orleans for DH, DD 7, and myself. I'm trying to decide between Carnival Sunshine and Norwegian Jewel. There's only about a $400 difference between the two. So the price isn't really a deciding factor. The cruise is during Mardi Gras week so I'm assuming there will be lots of children on both. I just don't know which ship is better for my DD. (Better kids programs, nicer pools, entertainment, etc.) Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!
