Is the cruise in the near future or over the summer? Could be that cabins that will accommodate more than two are sold out. They will be more pricey than a cabin that will only accommodate two. Have you tried checking with a travel agent or calling the cruise line directly?

I’m looking from May til the end of the year

I appreciate that adding a child will be more but I like to be able to search with a child and the correct availablity and price shownup without having to click into each result

  2. I am trying to look for a family cruise with my DD 9 but all the sites I have used so far give search results based on 2 Adults sharing.

It is only once you pick an itinerary you can add a Child, then it show no rooms available or the price sky rockets.

Am I doing something wrong or is there any better sites (apart from Disney) to use for this purpose?

  3. Hi Everyone!

Just had a fantastic 14nt P&O Cruise around the Caribbean on Azura. Whilst we loved it we’re glad we didn’t take our 7yo as the only real thing to do was to dump her in the kids club and mostly exclude her.

We’ve been lucky enough to be given flights to Florida and a stay in accommodation in Cape Coral and are wondering what the best port to look at and the which cruise company’s/ships etc.

We are looking to go either June, August or November for hopefully 7 nights.

Whilst Azura was lovely it didn’t wow us and actually felt quite small and not what I was expecting. So somthing bigger with a floating city feel would be better.

But our BIG point is being family friendly where we can enjoy entertainment, dining and activities together on board rather than relying on a kids club. We enjoy First Choice Holiday Villages (if you know what they are and offer)

Cost is obviously important and if it wasn’t we’d be on a Disney Cruise in a heartbeat.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for any replies

  4. We’ve just returned from Azura and as previously stated these is a self service laundry (we didn’t use) pressing and washing per items (2.25 for dress shirt press) but didn’t notice a bag price as wasn’t looking for that

However just over 1/2 through an ad in horizon for a bag of laundry at £20 as much as you can squeeze in but was limited to 1 bag per cabin

    Hope this helps

  6. Hi All

Thinking of booking our 1st Cruise for my wife’s 30th Birthday. Looking at P&O Caribbean Cruises at the end of November this year

Our options are the Azura A733 or Britannia B731 and there is about £400 difference the latter being more based on an outside balcony room

What would you recommend and why

    TIA
