Silly question - I see people commenting that their upgrade bids are "pending" or "locked" or "expired". If you bid on an upgrade through Royal Up, where can you see the status? Thanks! New to RCCL.

I don’t know what is normal for RoyalUp when going through a travel agent - but so many aspects of the cruise booking have to go through the Travel Agent if you use one. Do you get any emails directly from Royal?I received a RoyalUp email and my TA sent me an email.

I, too, have enjoyed your review and blame you for making me take the splurge on a 9-day Bermuda/Caribbean trip in October 2016 on the Anthem. I have NEVER sailed on a new ship with all the bells and whistles and seeing your posts everyday just made me bite the bullet and do it!
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
I have family in CT but they don't like to drive into the city - if I end up flying, is Newark the closest/best airport to fly into? How much was the fare from the port to the airport?
Also, if you had to pick an interior room on Deck 7, would you take one of the 3 at the back of the ship (I'm worried about noise from 270 here) or all the way forward (worried about motion)?
My wife and I flew into Newark for the April 12 sailing. We opted for the bus transfer, it cost us $57 for both of us. We also had an inside cabin on the 7 desk. Cabin 7533. It is located forward and we did not notice much movement, except for the last day. When we went through a storm. I was in 270 that day and I think the whole boat was rocking.

I did ifly twice. You can only do one reservation, but can do standby as many times as you want.

I follow him and his son Rip, I have no heath issues but want to keep it that way.
For cardiac his diet can turn your life around.
Look forward to your experience after the cruise report back
I am on quantum of the seas right now. I have had great service and food. They have taken my order the night before and had everything ready. The have even made selections not on the menus at all. I suggest before going on a cruise, fill out the dietary needs form. Royal Caribbean has been wonderful.

Planning a cruise, how well does RC accommodate dietary needs?
How do we let them know in advance or who to contact.
I will let know know. I will be sailing on Quantum of the seas April 12. I am on a special diet for cardiac reason's. (esselstyn diet) I am only 37 yrs old and have had open heart surgery twice. I did fill out the special needs form. I also received an email from the head chief about my diet needs. I hope everything works out. I will post and let you know.

Actual last time to board ship?
in Royal Caribbean International

I have always been told 90 minutes before Departure.
So I would make sure I was onboard by 2:30pm or 14:30
