hope this helps--it does for me!
"port", "left", "even" all have same letter count (same can't be said for 'starboard', 'right' and 'odd') so....
when i am first on the ship and exit the elevator i hold out my left hand-turn that way for my even # cabin--works every time! (we request the same cabin # every time. Of course i mostly use the stairs, which can complicate matters but I work it out)
now if i could only make the correct decision when leaving the cabin to go to various places; My new go-to is "eat right" (always a healthy idea!) to head for Terrace and "lounge left" (both begin with "L") for trivia, etc.
I'm old and need all the memory tricks I can think of.
Except when the elevator doors face aft, then you’re in trouble.

Thank everyone for the replies. I had called O about a cabin but didn't book yet. I should have asked this at
the start, are any alcoholic beverages included in the cruise? The gal on the phone told me only PH suites and above?
So a regular balcony you still sign for drinks?
This is the problem with calling in and talking to a CS rep. They were wrong. You get a bar set up in Oceania, Vista, and Owners suites. None in a PH. Even in those suites you pay for anything elsewhere around the ship.
You can always buy a drink package. Anything without alcohol is included at no extra charge.

Absolutely beautiful day in Bergen. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the cruise.

PS, the internet is working quite well.

I've never seen draft beer on board either. And it seems to me (as unknowledgeable as I am) that it would be very difficult for a ship sailing as far as they do to have draft beer on board.
I always assumed it would be impossible. Am I wrong? I mean, when we took our first Renaissance cruise the itinerary was Lisbon to Barcelona. In those days they reversed the route -- from Barcelona they returned to Lisbon. So in that case I would think they COULD have had draft beer available. But a few months later they started doing itineraries that would do the Med and then go north ... and then elsewhere.
I'd love to see draft beer on the O ships but I'm not counting on that happening.

I believe it's a choice, Celebrity has draft beer on all their ships.
Another thing that's changed on the Marina is on the Sparkling Wine menu there is no longer a choice of Schramsberg as a by the glass choice. There is a Mountadon, A Prosecco(forget the brand, some Italian) and a House Sparkling wine.

See you soon Jacqui, enjoy good internet while you have it, slow on board right now.
Edit, It's ORV posting, seems I'm logged into my wife's account, her first post, but not really.
