  1. For all of those saying to just try it well that is all well and good but no one has come back who has raved about these changes and posted any menus for the 7/8 day itineraries. Also, the port of call section will always be different so for those of us who don't like change it's very disconcerting to go in blind and not know if there is anything that will be appealing.

It might make you feel better to know that the "Port of Call" menu is just one app and one entrée out of many choices. I saw a lot of familiar items on the menu last month.

  2. I was on the Imagination this December and our menu was the same as the one Zydeco posted for his 4 day cruise. We thought most of the food was pretty good. We didn't have any dishes that were offered Family Style. Actually, I tried to get the calamari served Family Style, and they brought it all in individual dishes.

  3. My husband smokes cigars and when we were in Ensenada he for both Cubans and some cigars made in Ensenada. He got them on the main street there. They only sold cigars. He said the Cubans were OK, but the local ones were awesome! And they can be brought back!

Gheez we were just a few feet away from each other! I was looking for you in the club at night but don't think I ever saw you.

Found him and his DW hiding in the Piano Bar. The piano guy was excellant. Too bad he finished his contract on our cruise.

We really enjoyed the guy in the piano bar. One night my husband got to sing with him. After he was supposed to be finished for the night he continued to play, and even sang some songs from his home country.

We were on the Imagination in December and had a great time. I saw cornbread on the lunch buffet one afternoon and had to laugh. It was the bread with corn on top. Not good!!

  5. I get very swollen when I travel. I also read the thread posted above, and I did some YouTube research on dry brushing. I found a similar brush at the dollar store, and plan to try this on our cruise in a few weeks. I also remember somebody saying they put the life vest under the mattress at the foot of the bed at night. This kept their feet elevated while they slept.

  6. You may have better luck with this than we are having. The Queen Mary and the Maya both have park and cruise rates. For our trip they are close to $250 a night, and we need two rooms. Because we won't be able to leave until late afternoon the day before our cruise, we are staying in Redlands, and driving the last hour and a half the day of our cruise. On the West Coast Departures board there are several posts that have a discount code for the Maya. Unfortunately it didn't work for our dates.

  7. I really like Bonine. I believe the generic name is meclazine. I get mine at Walmart, but I heard it can be bought at Costco for $5 for 100 pills. It doesn't make me drowsy at all. I love it! I also took ginger, and Hylands motion sickness tablets. We uses all of them, and thought the Bonine was the best. Also, the only time I felt ill, I looked to the horizon and felt better right away. Have fun, and good luck!
