We were last year 2 weeks on the Rotterdam, its a nice ship. The music was excellent but the shows where bad, BBC earth is not a show for me, the food was 2 weeks the same, no changes.

We prefer Royal.

I want to bid on a Grand Suite. If we get it will the perks also be included or is it only the room?

We are on the Rotterdam in cabin 8151. The cabin is a Veranda Cabin, the balcony is a little bigger. The problem in both cabins is the noise of the Lido Deck. Normaly they have a carpet on the floor of the Lido restaurant but over this cabins are tiles. Every time the people move their chairs it will be loud in the cabin! The noise started  early in the morning to the evening.

I just received an email and the case is resolved.

We used this TA since 2012 and in former times we had no problems. The difference is between the adjusted invoice and the final invoice that I have now received. 

I booked our cruise with a TA. Now I got the invoice for the final payment and this was 23.4 % or $ 660 higher than the last invoice I got in November. I received the following answer to my complaint:

"After review of your reservation, I have been advised that your reservation was adjusted in November however the pricing was not reflected in the invoice sent at that time. Your pricing has been fixed and adjusted which reflects in the most recent invoice." 

I wrote to the TA that I cannot accept this as otherwise every final invoice could contain any amount to my disadvantage and insisted on the invoice. Despite several emails asking for an answer, no more reaction. Today I found out that the disputed amount was booked from my credit card without permission.

What should I do?

"We will rock you" is a fantastic musical. I saw it in London and Germany and twice last year on the Anthem ots. We also saw the Gift, the musical was much better and the music of Queen ist fantastic.

Back from the ship last week. We loved DD, 4 individual restaurants and no problems to change time or restaurant. Menu chanched after 4 days.

If you booked in advance there were no problems to visit shows or ifly or northstar.

We will miss DD. The ship is great. Also full booked it was never crowded.

We returned last week from Anthem ots and the not used obc was given to our credit card.

In April we will be two day on Barbados before starting our cruise. We are searchung for a car rental. We want to get the car at the airport and give it back at cruise port. Did anyone know a car rental where we can do this? Has anyone experience with it?

We normaly made our reservations for 5.30 - 5.45 because we like to take the first show. Sometimes we get invitations or we notices an event at this time so we changed the time, this was no problem. We prefer reservations because as written, later in the evening we normally saw many people waiting to be seated on Radiance ots and Allure ots.

Hello, we allways book MTD because we are free to decide when to eat.

You can book the time for every day before departing and it was no problem to change the time onboard if you get an invitation or they changed showtimes. Whether on the Radiance or the Allure this year it was a problem to change in the afternoon and we had the same waiters every night! If we had a traditional time early or late on the Allure it was´nt possible to see all Shows, special Mama Mia for the late time. It´s right, there are two lines but if booked you had not to wait!

Just back from Allure ots. This is a new cabin after renovating. The cabin itself is ok, much space for everything.

:mad: The bad is, on deck 11 is a laundrette room and in the second night we wake up at 4.30 am because there are heavy noises from above. It was as someone pull baskets from one site to the other and back. The women at the reception said it would not be again. The next night it was just before 4.00 am. I went to the reception and together with two persons of the security we went to the room.

I saw that the washers and dryers are directly above our bed!

There were crew members washing their floor mops. I want a report und it was said, they can´t do anything also we could change to a smaller cabin on deck 8. Because we want to sleep we changed the cabin. Speaking to the hotelmanager his comment was only "Thank you for your feedback", no word of apology for the inconvenience.

Does someone knows if the Radiance ots startet on time or if there were a delay?

We got off the Radiance in the morning and when we go from Seward to Anchorage on noon the street was closed until midnight. We saw Royal Caribbean buses coming from Anchorage to Seward.
