Suggestion: pick up the Rick Steves "Spain 2015" book (hardcopy or Kindle), it's worth its weight in gold and will answer all your questions on Spain.
-
We flew last year, it was actually cheaper than the train (obviously faster too.) When you arrive in Barcelona, there is a great bus service that takes you directly into the city.
-
What has any of this to do with "Stevia?"
-
I assume these are in the IC?
-
Keep in mind that wine and sparkling wine by the bottle is 40% off. A $50 bottle at dinner represents a $20 savings. Also expresso drinks, fresh-squeezed juices, bottles of water at dinner or during the day all add up. If you're cruising with a party, you can all share bottles of wine, water, etc. For us, it makes sense.

We're sailing on the 1/3 Regal E. Caribbean itinerary and I'm interested in the type of classes available in the fitness center and their costs. Can anyone who has traveled on the Regal recently provide any information? Thanks!
-
Not sure about IC, but I specified lactose-free for my wife in the Personalizer and we received a confirmation email several days later. I believe this is for the MDR as a minimum.
-
Including this one, which I'm currently obsessing over ;-) :
Dirty Piglet
maker's mark bourbon and a touch of vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate dipped bacon

Does anyone know if Stevia is available on the Regal (MDR's, IC, etc.?)
-
Ahhhh, good to know, thank you Shelly!
-
Thanks so much Tim. Sorry to hear they're not included in the AIBP. I'll have to have my wife try one and I'll sip!

Does anyone know if these chocolate drinks are served on Regal and, if so, where? http://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/chocolate-journeys/drinks-photo-gallery/

Very interesting analysis, thank you. We are a party of 6 sailing on the Regal Jan 3. I'm planning on purchasing the AIBP and averaging 2 bottles of wine for our group each dinner. At any average price of $50/bottle I can justify the cost of the package on the 40% discount alone.

Thank you! Does anyone know if they sell ST's at Vines by the bottle?
-
Thanks so much Karen, perfect!

Thanks! Do you know if you can order off Sabatini's wine list from another restaurant on the ship (MDR, CG.)?
-
Can anyone who has cruised on the Regal recently post Sabatini's wine list? Or can you estimate how many sub-$100 super Tuscans are on the list? Finally, can a bottle from Sabatini's list be ordered in the MDR? I'm considering the Unlimited Beverage option and would like to try some Super Tuscans, although we're leaning toward Crown Grill rather than Sabatinis. Thanks!
-
Is this menu (from the Princess site) representative of what you found in the CG?

Absolutely loved your detailed review, honestly I don't think I've every heard of a menu quite like it! We're sailing on the Regal Princess in two weeks, wish Share was on our cruise! Did you happen to try any of the Curtis Stone items in the main dining room? If so, did they come close in the taste or execution dept.?

Thanks for the review Buzz. We're on the 1/3 Regal E. Caribbean cruise. We also have 2 college-age kids with us. Any activities that you're 2 especially enjoyed?

Is formal attire required in Alfredo's?
-
Has anyone experienced the beach at the Westin? Approximate travel time, taxi cost? Also Divi Little Bay Resort?
-
Thanks for the great review Jeff! We're on the Regal Jan 3 - our first sail on Princess and we're really looking forward to it.
A quick question on formal nights. I've read some of the other comments on this, it appears that a jacket is acceptable, or lacking that, a long sleeve dress shirt. I know that the specialty restaurants are exempt from a dress code on formal nights, is this true for Alfredo's as well? Thanks!
Regal - dining tips?

Most of our dinners were in the Concerto MDR where we found the service to be outstanding and the food excellent! We typically had breakfast in the Horizon Terrace, and lunch in the Concerto or the pool area. One afternoon we treated ourselves to the Sanctuary and ordered from the spa lunch menu, delicious! Our last night we splurged and took the family to the Crown Grille and it was outstanding -- try the Ribeye! The International Cafe was wonderful for coffee and expresso drinks as well as pastries in the morning, late night snacks (panini's, etc.) Enjoy, and don't worry about the added pounds!
