We are booked on the Regal Princess in Dec. I use a scooter to get around. My question is with the premier package, you get reserved seating for the shows, is the seating still in the back of the auditorium where most ships have the handicap seats or would I be moved forward? Note I do remain on my scooter.

Wondering how the excursions booked thru Princess are handled if the arrival in a port is cancelled. Is the cost refunded to the payment method or are you just stuck? Also what if the port becomes a tender port and I can't get on the tender due to being handicapped? Just asking as it seems there have been a lot of this going on this year. Sailing to Alaska late August next year.

Can anyone tell me the procedure for parking at pier 91. Do you drop your luggage before parking and take a shuttle or take your luggage with you on the shuttle.
Also is there a shuttle that is accessible as I use a scooter

New to Carnival so I was wondering how formal are formal nights on the Glory out of New Orleans for a 7 night cruise? And how many are there? We have 3 port days in a row. Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel. Days 2, 3 and 7 are sea days.

I've been told the distance from the ship to where you would board an excursion vehicle is a long ways at Mahogany Bay. That you have to go thru an area of venders to the outside then get a taxi to where the private excursions are located. My question is are there vehicles to handle my scooter or will I have to drive over the hill to the bus? and will my wife have to ride the taxi by herself? And are the Carnival sponsored excursion pickup point different than the private ones? I have a booking with a private co. but thinking of changing to a Sage excursion.
The other question I have is, the excursion I have booked wanted cash when we board. We can use a credit card, but the price when up like 20% due to some taxes they have to pay. Is this correct?

- I know this could be posted somewhere else as it concerns a disabled question. We are coming into New Orleans on Christmas day late afternoon. There would not be time to do any sight seeing (doubt anything would be open anyway) My question is should we stay out by the airport or reserve at the Embassy Suites or Hilton Riverside. I can't really tell how far of a walk it is from either one. It looks close on goggle earth. I use a scooter, however my wife does have difficulty walking distance. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Also any recommendations on shuttles to and from the airport for my scooter, my wife and myself

Has anyone recently been in cabin D304 on the Emerald Princess? I was just looking on cruisedeckplans.com at the photos of that cabin. It appears in the photo that there is a lip or step up entering the bathroom. It's supposed to be a fully accessible cabin.

The last time I used the cruise line it was a total mess, so was looking for options. And yes I have an accessible suite and no I haven't sent the paper work in. (Not going until 2021, may change scooters by then) You both are probably right to break the group. Thanks for the link advice.

Looking for accessible transportation from Sea-Tec to pier 91 and back after the cruise for a family group of 12. (6 adults and 6 kids under 17) Traveling with a scooter (only 1). Should I use the Cruise line or try to book on my own? Trip is not until 2021. Any and all suggestions welcolm.

Has anyone booked the Family Suites on the Emerald Princes. My question is how was it priced out (as one cabin or two. Mini suite and inside cabin) and is it considered suite club class, mini club class or no club at all? I posted this on the Princess board and wondered what kind of comments I would get here. They were all over the place on the Princess board.

You are all correct. We were in a full suite for Panama and a mini for Alaska. Thanks for the information.

Has Princes reduced the amenities for the club class. We cruised the Panama Canal late Oct early Nov in a suite with cc. We had comp speciality dining, laundry, priority spa and a few more that are not listed for our Alaska trip Aug 2021.

Thank you so much. I'll check them out..

We've been looking at Princess accessible excursions for the Panama partial transit. We could only find one listed. I use a scooter full time so I know the Grand Cayman is out.
What I need to know is if the listed excursions on Princess use accessible transportation. If not any thoughts for providers you may have used. Ports are: Falmouth, Cartagena, Cristobal, Limon and Grand Cayman (tender port). Thanks for your imput.

Wondering why the aft accessible cabins on the promenade deck of the Island Princess do not have wheelchair access to the balcony? (cabins PR701-PR710, & PR726 & PR727)

I hope not, but that was what I was thinking also.

We were able to book an accessible suite in June (this year). Unheard of for an accessible cabin in any category that late. I just checked and there are still accessible cabins available as well as several other regular balcony and others on various decks.. Any ideas why? Time of year, ship, itinerary, cabin location (Promenade aft PR727/S5) Sure hope it's a great cruise.
Premier package for reserved seating for a mobility scooter user worth it?
