I found more photos from our first cruise 2/15/1987 on the Southward.  The older couple that was in the photo was a TV Station Manager I believe and they were wonderful people.  I hope as the years go along that more photos will be posted.  We were a young vibrant couple (still are but a bit older lol) I hope that this brings fun memories for those who were on the ship.

Excited for you! You can come and go as often as you want to go back and forth between security :) Come and go as you would like but be on board when they tell you and not after they tell you. Make sure your watch is set to SHIP time. I have seen many running to the pier as we pull away. Most of all..... have fun... you are on vacation.

My wife and I had been married for almost a year at that time. We were a young couple of 28 years old. I know that we did a lot with others our age, we probably were together during the activities. Ironically we are leaving Thursday for a cruise back to eastern Caribbean. I will post a photo of my wife and I some time. That ship started many fun vacations for us, this upcoming cruise will be our 13th.

Our first cruise was 2/15/1987. Here are a few photos of the Southward. This Ship was our first experience to cruising and hooked us for life on cruising. Although the cabin was small and the ship was small to today's standards, we had such a nice time.
