I've searched the Belize thread and not finding much of anything about Bacab Eco Park. I understand most people want to snorkel, zip-line or cave-tube in Belize, but we've done all of those several times, and was looking for something a little different. The description of this park sounds nice, and you can kayak or go biking or hang at the pool. But no one seems to be going there . . . so kinda makes me wonder if the description may be a little better than reality. And I can't find prices anywhere - even on their website.

Has anyone been? Did you like it? Would you mind sharing the price?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get "down the hill"? We like the idea of taking a taxi to the Upper Town and walking down, but we have a bike ride scheduled at 11:00. How far/long is the walk down? Thank you!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like a one-way rental car is the easiest solution. That way we won't have to wait on the shuttle too!

Hello! We've always packed plastic bottles of soda in our packed luggage, but Carnival (and others) have changed the rules for carry on soda. Those now have to be in your carry on and need to be in a can or carton. We want to comply with the new rules. What's the closest place near the port canaveral cruise terminal to buy soda or wine? Is it walkable? We'll be taking a shuttle from Orlando airport, so won't have a chance to stop along the way.

It's been many years since we were on the Summit. Can someone tell me about the entertainment? Not intested in bars or dancing. There used to be an a cappella group and a string quarter that would play around the ship before dinner. Do they still have that sort of entertainment? Are the main shows good?

Hello! We actually used them in May this year. We were skeptical also because couldn't find any real reviews. But all turned out okay. Our shuttle was waiting for us at the airport, and took us to the hotel. The hotel was nice. The only part that was a little irritation was the shuttle from the hotel to the cruise ship. They were terribly overbooked, and were almost an hour late. They were supposed to pick us up by 11:00, but it was almost noon, and then we had to make some other stops before getting to the cruise ship. We were there by 12:30. So we put that in the category of "we've on vacation - let's just relax". We were on the ship in time for lunch, so no harm done. The shuttle from cruise to airport at the end was fine. So I would probably rate them 4 out of 5 stars.

We loved the pizza on the Sunshine! Quattro Formaggio was my favorite. It's a nice thin, crispy crust - I suppose you have to like thin crust. I wouldn't even need a main dining room between the pizza place, Guy's Burgers and the Burrito place!
