  1. It always has been very confusing with port fees and taxes. There were cruises that everybody got adjusted in OBC while we pay the same amount and did not get any adjustments.

I am surprised that these fees would never be adjusted under any circumstances, so what happened? Are any sailings that fees will be lowered would decrease?

  2. I had the same problem with AirLingus and another TA. I thought it will never end. I was bounced between both of them. I was even told that my vouchers expired. I called my CC and solve the problem within 3 days.

AirLingus didn't have a problem with refund but the TA was supposed to communicate with them directly. TA didn't want to do much and was even charging me cancellation fee. It was not me cancelling the flight it was Covid 19 that ruined the trip.

I am so glad charging it to my CC.

    Good Luck!

  3. Great suggestions. I would make sure about the time restrictions on the cruising date. I believe it said that it must be taken within 6 months from the date it was issued.

One, also need to remember that all C&A discounts, OBC credit as well as any other perks will be taken away. It also applies to your TA perks. Select the cruise with the least perks otherwise your credit might go down up to half of the amount.

As long as you pay one dollar you also will collect your points. Taxes and fees do not count for payment to receive C&A points.

  4. Please, don't be surprised that "My Time" dining is not anymore starting at 5:15 pm as shown. I learned the hard way that it starts at 6:30 pm fleet wide, at least on Harmony of the Seas. It has been changed within last couple of weeks.

I don't feel it is "My Time" dinning anymore. Very disappointing.

  5. You are absolutely correct about "smart Check in". It hasn't been working for a while. I was able to complete check in for June 29th but cannot finish July 2nd cruise.

When called RCCL, I was told that it will be available within 60 days prior to my cruise not 90.

    ;)

  6. My experience with Air2Sea has been always more expensive than booking directly through the airlines including domestic, international, round trip and one way tickets. The price shown on initial screen was never the same as quoted by the representative.

I guess you have to decide if you need that extra blanket of coverage with delays and trying to make to the ship on time.
