  1. We have cruised 6 times to Alaska. Have a 14 day (b2b) next week.  We have been on several different cruise lines, but Princess is our favorite. Southbound is also more time in ports and does Glacier Bay and Hubbard.  We leave out of Whittier. I know everyone has their favorite, but we wouldn’t miss Glacier Bay. Always book Jayleens in Juneau for whale watching. Harv and Marv would be our 2nd choice.  Booked Temesco for Helicopter/glacier excursion. Was wonderful, but expensive. Worth every penny.  Also have done Island Wings (Michelle)in Ketchikan flight seeing and landed on a beautiful lake. Excursions are pricey in Alaska, but certainly breathtaking.  Hope you have a wonderful trip and fall in love with Alaska like we have…..our first trip was a bucket list and was only going to be a one time thing!

  2. Just take whatever Juneau whalecwatch tour you want and call a cab to pick you up and take you to Mendenhall when the whale watch is done. Spend whatever time you want at the Glacier (we spent a couple of hours) and call a cab to pick you up. That's exactly what we did. It was very easy.

Going July 15th and already booked for a whale watching tour! My favorite excursion! (4th time to Alaska) could you please share information on calling a cab. (Phone number, etc.) Have always used bus, but would much prefer cab to Mendenhall! Thanks!

  3. Thanks! I just hope we will be able to see the Glaciers etc, Have always wanted to go to Alaska. Looks beautiful!! Whats the weather like in July?

Just got back a week ago from out third cruise to Alaska! It is so beautiful and such a great place to cruise...I don't think you will regret it at all!

  4. I am looking at booking a fishing excursion for my husband while in port at Ketchican. I wondered if anyone had booked the excursion off of Princesses list?

I cannot find much info and it would be only for him. Thought maybe that would just fill up the boat. Any help will be appreciated.
