Ncl doesn’t do invitations, I did this on the last one I coordinated and it was a frustrating, time consuming exercise on embarkation day. My suggestion to keep talking it up in the roll call, figure on half of the people that signed up to actually show up. They do provide write on name tags, refreshments, and officers to give a brief presentation. All the ones I’ve gone to have been at 11am on the first sea day. Sometimes the coordinator gets a few perks and sometimes not, I wouldn’t count on it. I do it because I’ve attended several and figure it’s my turn.

We enjoy good music
Yes, they have a very good show band and the leader was in the horn section. We cruised last month.

Is the smell just on the port aft area? We are in 9277 (aft facing back of ship) for our 2017 cruise and wondering if we will notice it too. Thanks
Us too, Jan 2017.

Is anyone familar with Willy Estupiñan A. TourGuide?Www.chiletourfun.com
We have made plans with him for an airport pick-up and tour/ transfer from Santiago to Valaprisio next January. Is this the same tour company as Chile Fun Tour?

Family member ran into this on the NCl Pearl, complained at Guest services and ended up getting another room to sleep in. Also they did turn down the music, so it never hurts to let them know you are not happy.
Hope it works out!

Thanks for all your nice comments. To catch up with the last days. After the Falkland Islands we had another seaday and here is the freestyle daily for that.
Don't worry at the end of the cruise I will write a summary including the weather, food, service, public area and all of that stuff.

You are a rock star! Thanks for sharing your incredible journey

We were there on the Spirit last May. We were docked, you could walk to town and NCL also provided a free shuttle.
Hope this helps!

Hi All,
Need some advice, I can either have cabins on deck 8 of NCL Pearl right at the very front or right at the very back (as I require connecting cabins and these are the only ones avilable) Last time i had cabins at the rear there was some vibration. Anyone been on the Pearl and had any issues with these cabins?
Be sure to check out what is below the room, the disco may be under the aft room.. they party pretty late into the night. We were on the Pearl last summer and someone our party had an Aft balcony room on 8th floor, they had trouble sleeping due to noise.
We just got off the Sun and had a forward cabin, loved it, but you do feel more motion than in the rear.
Meet and Greet agenda
in Norwegian Cruise Line

I’ve hosted two meet & greets, the first one I did a bingo game, wth questions about people on the roll call, and the intinery ( South America), the second one was a transatlantic and we had over 100 people come. We did a magnent exchange, for those who wanted to participate they brought a wrapped magnent representing their part of the world, we threw it in a hat, later everyone drew a magnet and you walked around till you found the person who brought it. I personally don’t like the gift exchange thing because I don’t want to waste packing space. The group activity coordinator on the ship will be around to assist, on our bingo game I bought a few prizes for the winners, ncl threw in a bottle of wine.
Have fun!
