  1. Used Priceline for the first time.

Got Grand Hyatt Seattle for $100. for early Sept for 2 nights pre cruise. Bid $85 for downtown 3 star or better and was shot down. Put in $100. and it was accepted. Their site shows it for $177. Its a 4 star but what I really was more interested in was the location so I'm a happy girl. :):p

  2. Hi, I also live in the South where its very humid. I don't have a problem with swelling of my ankles, feet and hands until I've been on a ship for a

few days. I had read a post way back that the desalinated water could be the cause so one cruise I drank nothing but bottled water, the water tab was almost as much as the liquor  . It didn't help. I think that the great contributor to this for me is the use of salt in cooking onboard

which I don't do at home) and also the rich foods. I actually have some shoes I call the cruise shoes because they are 1/2 size larger and get worn on the cruises exclusively. Luckily my ankles are normally skinny so when they swell they aren't noticeable but I can feel it. We love to dance and when you can't bend your feet it hurts :p

  3. DH and I were on Century in September and the Production that were done were really excellent. Again on Constellation on December 11th the three large stage productions were outstanding, probably some of the best we've seen. As I recall one of the shows had most of the passengers on their feet for the dancers at the end of the evening. I can't compare to anything other than Celebrity and RCl as those are the lines that we normally do.
