It’s not how much we want to eat but to sit and enjoy a lunch when we board and relax without noisy confusion of windjammer. . We’ve always done this on previous Explorer cruises. We’ve been on 30+ cruises and Anthem was one of the few that did not offer lunch in dining room. No big deal. Just asking. Thanks.

Just off Anthem last month in JS. Download the Royal IQ app before boarding. As soon as you board go to dining in app and book your evenings for Costal Kitchen. You can always cancel. We needed early seating as my 3 yr old grandson was in our party and the early seatings were all filled except for one  day. I booked a few hours after boarding. There was late seating available most days. . 

Thanks. So the buffet is only option. What about  Solarium.  We were just on Anthem and they had s few other options besides buffet. 

Does Adventure out of Cape Liberty have the dining room open for lunch on embankment day?

How does requests for gluten free dining work in specialty restaurant. Also on NCL you can eat anywhere so how is that handled. I know on RC you can go to same table, same restaurant every night so they know in advance.

I see there is a Black Friday Special for unlimited internet on Anthem for 11.99 a day. Last time we were on I am sure it was 9.99 a day. Does anyone know the rates for the unlimited internet? Has anyone recently paid 9.99 a day? Thank you.

Since Costal Kitchen is somewhat like an upcharge restaurant even though for junior suite and above at no additional fee, is additional tipping each night necessary?

There is no charge for bumper cars. We went on and then got back in line and went again. It's a hit a miss - sometimes mobbed, sometimes hardly anyone. Great fun. I was afraid it would jolt my back but they are very padded bumpers and the bumps are nothing that would jolt you. I just went after my husband the entire time and bumped him as much as I could!! Lol.

I have been told you can dine in Coastal Kitchen if in mini suite or higher. Is there a surcharge there and do you need to make reservations? Thank you.

Is anyone concerned about what to use as bug repellant for this Zika epidemic. We are sailing to st Thomas, st Martin, and Haiti on the Anthem in a few weeks where it is supposed to be the worst. How can you lay out in the sun with bug repellant and sun lotion!! And bug repellant smell make me so sick. What are you thoughts. Thank you.

Can Junior suites use Coastal Kitchen or is it for regular and grand suites only? Also I read on here and cannot find now - is there a separate breakfast restaurant you can use if you are Diamond or above? This is regarding Anthem that I am inquiring. Thank you!

We are on Anthem in June and booked a spa mini suite. Does this give us any perks re spa or can you eat in the suite restaurant? Thank you for any info.

Can anyone tell me which restaurant is open when you board for lunch? They always try to rush you up to buffet but I know on every ship we've sailed there is always a complimentary restaurant open.

Can anyone explain the different dining plans on Allure? The TA told us about standard 8:00 pm seating and you go to 4 different restaurants with same waiters? Also with my time dining can you just walk up and be seated or do you need reservations. Thank you.

We were on Breakaway in May and the unlimited for 7 night cruise was $175. Well worth it as there were 4 of us using it. Only one can use it at a time with their own device.
