  1. Hi,

I’m looking at the Edge 3/29 sailing.
We don’t cruise often, this will be our 4th.  We’ve done Concierge and Sunset Veranda in the past.  I was going to book just the veranda class this time, but I just saw the Suite guarantee has pretty good pricing for this particular sailing.  I understand it’s a gamble on where we will end up.  So, I want to ask savvy and frequent travelers, which are the worst suite class on Edge?  If I know what the worst scenario may be, I won’t be disappointed.

Also, is it correct that we will receive all four perks with suite booking?

    Thank you!
  2. Hi everyone,

We are going to be on Solstice in June. A couple of us have to check in with work and potentially need to do some work. We got the free internet as the package when we booked. For you experienced and previous cruisers, would you answer some questions we have?

    1. Do we have internet access in the rooms, or just public areas?

    2. How many users are allowed per "internet package"?

    3. Do they limit number of simultaneous logins, and/or number of devices? Say can I be on my iPad and iPhone the same time?

    4. What kind of internet speed do they provide? Enough to stream video or more like dial-up?

    Thank you in advance!

  3. Hi everyone,

We will be on Solstice this June. Looking at the schedule, we will be at Tracy Arm in the morning of day 4 before arriving Juneau. We are interested in the Tracy Arm Fjord excursion. I am a bit confused while researching, hopefully someone can shed some lights.

    1. While we are at Tracy Arm that morning, we don't dock right?

    2. If we don't dock, how does the excursion work? Is the excursion offered by Celebrity is the only option?

    3. If we have the option of excursion from outside vendors, how does the logistics work?

    Hopefully my questions make sense..!

    Thank you in advance!

  4. Hi all!

I need help sorting this out...

We (party of 10, 8 adults and 2 kids) will be on Solstice in June. We've purchased the 3 Specialty Dining package and booked the first specialty dining. Since we are a big size of party and want to ensure we dine together, we would like to reserve for the second and third specialty before we board. What's the best way to approach this?

    Thank you in advance!

  5. Hi,

As I am reading all the reviews and trip reports, I am getting a little confused on exactly what Bistro on 5 is. I understand there is or was a transition from being a crepe place to a sushi place? Am I right?

We will be on Solstice in June. Can someone clarify exactly what Bistro on 5 is right now on Solstice? Are they available for lunch and/or dinner? And what the charge is?

    Thank you in advance!

  6. There are six of us under two different cruise reservation number. I reserved several MTD back in December and linked the reservations, somehow it only showed up on my calendar but not on my friend's. Now, I'm a bit worried since all our shows are set and reserved.

I just tried to make reservation for MTD around our show times, but the dining time we prefer is no longer available. How likely will we be able to walk in and be seated if we show up early that day?

    Thanks in advance!!

  7. We will be on Oasis next month. I've booked all the shows, and now trying to plan dinners around it. Can anyone who has sailed on Oasis share your experience on how long is a typical meal in MDR? Is it enough if I allow an hour and half or should I plan for two hours? Thanks!

  8. We will be on Oasis and traveling with friends with two kids at age 10 and 5. We would like to try a couple of specialty dining. Are there specific rules for kids, any kids menu available? One kid is rather a picky eater and most likely he wont even have anything, is there a charge for him just being there?

  9. We will be at Nassau from 7am -2pm in April, and we are traveling with our friends and their kids age 10 and 5. This is our first time visiting this port. I would like to visit Atlantis but I don't think its worth it for the short period time we are there. kids are interested in dolphin and we are interested in island tour. I understand we can go our separate way for excursion; however, in the ideal world is to do both together. So my questions are:

    1. Is it even doable with the 7 hours we have on the island?

    2. If it is doable, does anyone know any tour company offers it?

    3. We don't mind to do private tour to make this work. If we do go with private tour, any recommendations?

    4. What are the must stops on the island?

Thank you for your help!! Apologize with so many questions, I just realized I don't have much time left to plan till the trip.

  10. Hello, we will be in the same cruise :). If you log in to RCCL.com and go to my cruises and the click on your reservation # under purchased cruises, it will take you to where you can make your reservations. I hope that helps.

Thank you! I'm looking at it. Another question, we are traveling with friends, who are under different reservation numbers. Can I book for everyone else with my acct?

    Thanks!

  11. Thank you so much!

You've saved me so much time to search around.

While we are on vacation, on average we will have at least 2 glasses for dinner and one to two cocktails during the show or in casino. During sea day, when we sit by the pool, we will most likely have at least 3-4 beers or cocktails. (gosh, hope we don't sound like alcoholics, we are on vacation :) )

With that said and not knowing the price per drink right now, is it a good idea to get the package?

When we cruised Celebrity, we had the Premium drink package and we loved it. But we had the classic package as a perk and only had to pay the difference to upgrade. Just trying to figure out if its worth it for us to do the same on this one.

  12. Thanks!

I am reading all these package details, somewhere confusing.

Am I correct to say the only alcoholic drink package includes specialty coffee (latte, cappuccino, etc) and fresh squeeze juice is the Ultimate Package?

If I pick the Select Package as my alcoholic package and also would like to have my daily fresh squeeze juice and latte, I would need to get the Select plus Royal Replenish?

With the fresh squeeze juice, are there any green juice available on the ship?

    Thank you!!!
