Did you have the ceviche? I'm curious if that was any good.

We did B2B on Allure. Beach Club on the 4 day and Hideaway on the 3 day. The ceviche at Hideaway was the same as what was served at the Beach Club in the appetizer tray. It was served in a plastic cup and accompanied by plantain chips that were separated from the ceviche in a plastic lid.

I thought it was very good.

  2. Allure Sep 10-17. Two of us in Crown Loft and two in Grand Suite. Told No at a couple restaurants then asked Concierge if he could help. He made a call and it was still No.

Average 7 cruises per year and this was the first time we were not able to book/pay on day one or two and use it later in the cruise.

We'll try again on upcoming cruises and see what happens.

  3. Any recent experiences at Chef’s Table on Allure? Just off Serenade and did not have a good one. The food was great but service very slow. We started with the champagne cocktail at 6:15 and dinner was not complete until after 9:30. We all agreed we could have dealt with the delays between courses if they kept the wine flowing as was our experience at previous Chef's Tables. There were 10 of us and they opened just one bottle per course so we each got about a half glass then our waiter would disappear until the next course came out.

We booked CT on Allure in September but if this is the new normal fleetwide we will cancel.

    Thank you.

You need to be in at least an ocean view balcony to bid on GS/OS CLS suites. If you are in say a neighborhood balcony, the highest class you will be able to bid on is a JS.

I can confirm this. We were neighborhood balcony gty on Harmony Nov 21 and our RU options were up to Jr Suite. Got a good deal to upgrade to Jr Suite and once the RU updated we then had the option to bid on all suites above Jr suite.

I think I'd pay $100, I really do, we absolutely loved it.  Maybe not 169 though.  Ido not understand how they could justify over that when there are plenty of us who got the lower prices, we booked it at $92 pp back in March and then it came down a couple weeks later so we canceled/re booked.

Thanks Becci! We will think about the $100 and be watching for price decrease.

All of the coffee machines in junior suites and above, at least on Odyssey, Symphony and Freedom, have been changed to Lavazza.

We had one in our jr suite on Allure. Very nice.
