Hi Sarah- We were on the Reflection last year and ate in Luminae most meals. They readily brought a MDR menu if asked and I did order off it once or twice.

Perhaps it is because I am getting older, and sometimes I don't particularly like the things that were special about HAL going away, but every single time we cruise, I often stand somewhere looking at the ocean (or dinner, or the pool, or the lido or the shops or the ports) and say to myself that there are no doubt millions and millions of people who would give anything to change places with me at that moment, or for the week.

 

 

 

In less than 9 weeks, we are fortunate enough to be taking our two sons, two daughters in law and four grandchildren (the whole family) on a week's cruise to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I plan to smile the whole time. How lucky we are to make it to 50 years, and how lucky we are to be able to spend the kid's inheritance on such a wonderful memory.

 

 

 

Every time we step on board a cruise ship, I say a little prayer for all those who have not had our good fortune.

We will be sailing next month, first time in a suite, made reservations for early seating - assume now in MDR. Would love to eat at Luminae. Do we need to call Celebrity and talk about this or leave our reservations as is and talk to Luminae or butler or someone else when we get on ship? I heard Luminae often is booked so how quickly do we need to do this or can we keep our MDR reservations as is and just walk into Luminae ( and possibly wait) on any given evening?

How do you " withdraw money from OBC account"? I Hightower that money could only be used in purchasing merchandise,food,excursions,etc.

New to this thread. Could someone please tell me who is on Reflection for March sailings? Seems to be difference of opinion as to CD.

The staff can make the difference between an okay cruise and a great one!

Thank you so much for such a well written and comprehensive travelogue! We will be on the March 24 sailing, our third time on the Connie! After 17 cruises, it is our favorite ship! Thanks again and safe travels home.
