  1. No amping this year [emoji27] and the azipod has to be changed and can't cruise with just the 2 [emoji27] we came across on the march TA and the vibration at the back just cruising in 2 azipod was very bad [emoji27] only 2 aqua shows even though the smoothest crossing ever known ( the captain's words ) . Azipod change is definetly the priority [emoji3]

Yes , it shows the cruise but not working onboard as not working with onboard accounts , reservations etc but apparently it should be by the end of this month . Interactive TV now disabled on the indy as well till the app is activated so no way of checking your onboard account this month apart for going to guest services and asking them to print it out every few days !

One Big Announcement leading to One Big Sale....

Yes , can't believe the people that run the RCI twitter account are thick enough to post what they have posted for just a "sale" which in fact is more expensive than for anyone who has already booked for a UK sailing in 2018 !!!!

  4. I'm afraid it looks like this was it : "Royal Caribbean is offering "Buy One Get One Half Price" cruise fares for 2018, plus 25 per cent off third and fourth guests on bookings made by 5 March in its One Big Sale.

The offer applies to sailings of six nights or more, on holidays departing 1 April to 31 December, with fares also including the All Inclusive Deluxe Beverage package for first and second guests on selected sailings to Europe, the Caribbean and on sailings from Southampton"

  5. Impossible to predict seeing the northern lights I'm afraid . We were on the adventure of the seas in October from Southampton to Iceland and then Norway's and we saw them for a total of 15 minutes at 2 o'clock in the morning as we entered the Arctic circle . Amazing sight and apparently the first time in 10 years of on this cruise that it had been seen . Even in Iceland there was a nightime tour to see the northern lights but they saw nothing because of the cloud . Even a Fred Olsen northern lights cruise from the UK last week never saw them once so I would really stick to things you want to see on the earth and book for those and not things you may see above us ! If you do see the northern lights then it will be a real bonus .

  6. Don't think Royal Caribbean will let you upgrade a cabin without at least one of the travelling passengers knowing about it and keep in mind that they could be going from a lovely quiet inside room to maybe a forward ocean view next to the bow which has the waves pounding against it all night!

  7. We have looked at this room before and I found this review :

Indy to Paris (Le Havre)*by*Stevie Lawson

6700 - very spacious with large circular window which looks out onto an area similar to a balcony. Beds face in direction of travel. This cabin has a much bigger feel to it than a regular oceanview. 3 seater sofa. I heard slight noise from what I believe is a crew access area under the cabin in the blanked off area of the deck plan. There was a type of clunking or banging noise intermittently all night, sound of footsteps on metal stairs. It could have easily been obliterated by earplugs and should not put you off this excellent cabin. Long walk along the hallway from stairs and elevators should be taken into account. *

Of the course the noise you get is the same on all ships at the back and you get a bigger cabin but I have to say it does look like it looks out onto a balcony and then the sea . Still looks like a fantastic cabin though and better than any of the indy promenade view or standard ocean view rooms.
