Thanks to all of you for these replies!  BTW, I am clueless with computers.  Does anyone know where it set it up so I get an email when someone responds to a post that I wrote?  Thanks!

Up top is a “follow” button.  I haven’t found it on my phone but it shows on my iPad

I just checked the link that you used to buy them against the one that I did VERY carefully and it is the exact same one.  However my receipt looks a bit different from yours. I know that they just opened up May 3rd tickets on April 3 (I think because they were trying to figure out summer hours and the Easter Orthodox holiday that May 4th weekend) and then suddenly they opened it up until September.  If they are not in your spam folder, then it may???? be because they are overwhelmed with ticket requests??? Is there an email that you can inquire about them?  Also, did you see your Visa charge go FULLY through yet? Or is it still in pending?  Sometimes your credit card may be waiting for you to okay the purchase from a foreign country - just a thought. I do not think the website is a scam.  The WORST case is you could dispute it, but

My receipt looked like this for the 3 of us...

    Acropolis & Slopes
    Attica & Central Greece

Reservation Code: A XXXXXXX (deleted actual code)

    Visit: 03/05/2024
    €90,00

    COMBINED/ΕΝΙΑΙΟ ΚΥΡΙΟ
    D000000xxxxx (deleted actual ticket #)
    €30,00

I got an email receipt that looks like

TAP e-ticket - Reference Number: Axxxxzzz

it has a map and a QR code for each ticket

How many nights are these prices for? 4 nights?

I made a list of hotels but like poster above waiting. I need late may 2025. .. getting close. I'm looking for 1 solo pax is why so many come up for me with one single twin bed, but I've found some larger ones.  Several on your list. One even had some kind of balcony but it was solid wood, not a great view imo but oh well. Waiting to book, but impatient.

I've searched for both spanish steps and Colosseum as some that are in the later area arent that far from from the steps area.

Sorry.  3 nights via booking dot com.  Cheaper directly via hotel.

We're looking at this hotel for one night in October. Did you like it? was it in a good location? we will be coming in from the train station

Haven’t stayed yet. Have read good things. Had a person say they liked it.  Location seems great

  10. We are planning on doing this tour for a quick familiarization of area and because we are going with a couple that don’t want to walk so much.

    3-6 golf cart tour.  Rollingrome.com.  $100/person.  4 in cart.  3 hours

Another option was to do Rick Steves heart of Rome walk.

It was on Venture Ashore, and it is called “Taormina Shared Return Transfer.” I would want to verify that it’s to and from Taormina, since the language is a little odd. NCL has a “Taormina On Your Own” excursion that is basically what this is, but an hour less and $20 more, which is why we were looking for alternatives.

Please look at reviews for Venture Ashore.  They were not good

We are going to be in port at Messina from 8am to 6pm. I think we will therefore have plenty of time to do a bus or train to Taormina. However, I’ve found a 5.5-hour transport excursion, which would make things easy, though more expensive ($50pp). My question is whether folks think ~3.5 hours in Taormina is sufficient to soak up the scenery, get a cannoli, and visit the teatro. I suppose we can always train back if we would like another hour, but I would appreciate your opinion if you’ve spent a half-day in Taormina. Thanks!

Could you please share the name of transport excursion.
