  1. Hopefully this is allowed! But where do I purchase a Royal Caribbean gift card to give as a gift for the holidays?? On the website it takes 7-10 and I don't know if i'll receive it in time for christmas. I will do electronic (takes 48 hours) if need be but prefer a normal one! Does anyone know any stores that sell them??

  2. This makes me sad to hear because this coming sunday is our first royal cruise. We have been on two carnival cruises, and one reason I nearly stuck with them was because I LOVE their chocolate lava cake. I was really hoping there was just one really awesome treat to enjoy through the cruise that you cant get anywhere else, like carnivals lava cake.

That carnival melting cake is the best dessert ever!! Did Royal have anything similar??

  3. There is no separate low sodium menu. You order from the regular menu and they make the dishes low sodium for you. It has worked well for me to request low sodium diet pre-cruise under preferences and then speak to my waiter on the first night.

Thank you for the information! Are we able to still order more then one is entree? For example if they have a filet and a yummy seafood entree!

  4. We got off the Indy 10 days ago after 13 nights round Spain. In my opinion, there was absolutely no problems. We did My Time in the MDR and for the first time on an RCI ship, when you said you would like to sit with others, you could. MDR was fine, except for my normal bugbear...loads of meat and no veg! Eg 2 or 3 slices of pork, half a spoon of mashed potato and 3 (count them...3!) sugar snap peas! If you want veg, make sure as you order you ask for an extra order of vegetables. Bars were fine...we didn't have a drink package and prices were a bit steep, but we make good use of our Diamond drinks;). Shows were pretty good and although I didn't have much expectations for 'Grease', I really enjoyed it. Have a fun time on Indy when she gets over to you.

Did you have to prepay for the MTD? I am going on December 3rd and it is making me prepay.. not sure why! I read that they ended that :confused:

  5. I have a cruise booked for Dec 3rd on Independence of the Seas. I originally selected the 8:30 dining when i booked (yesterday) but would like to change it to my time. It is having me prepay the gratuities. I thought I read somewhere that they stopped doing prepay? This is my first time doing MTD with Royal Caribbean. Thank you!

  6. Hello im trying to complete my online checkin for my cruise this Saturday and for the past 3 days im getting an error code 5226 incomplete address information. I don't understand why?? I have my complete address on my account and I booked threw carnival website. Please helpp!! Btw I tried on internet Explorer and firefox.

  7. Ok, so this will be getting confusing but I was married then got divorced, and now my drivers lisence is a different name from birth certificate since I took my stepdads last name.

My last cruise I took with RC planner told me to book cruise in whatever name my passport was in (which was married name even though I was already divorced at the time) he said as long as my passport matches my name on the booking.

Well for this cruise I want to bring my drivers lisence as ID but my birth certificate reads my maiden name. Do I have to bring original birth certificate, then marriage lisence, followed by divorce paperwork which includes name change?? Orrrr should I just use passport?? .Helppppp!!!:(:(
