exceptions are drink of the day, some top scotches, XO Cognac & Martinis
Check the back page of the Currents daily for more info
Thank you!

What drinks are included in Happy Hour? Two for the price of one...do they have to be the same drink? Thanks so much!

As I noted in response to your earlier post with this question: Unless the rules suddenly stiffened at the same time the mask rules were loosening, in January and February was saying that IF you got a test before the cruise [which could be either PCR or Antigen] they would cover your costs if the port test was positive. It was not a requirement that you do so.
Thank you! I think I missed your previous answer.

Did you have to have a PCR test 3 days before the cruise and COVID test before going on the Sirena? We had to do that in February before getting on the Riviera. We are going on the Sirena in 3 weeks.
Enjoy the cruise and keep us posted. Thanks!

Did Oceania require that you get a CPR test 3 days before the cruise? Did you have to take a COVID test in a tent before getting on the Sirena? That is what we had to do in February on the Riviera and was wondering if it is the same now.
Thanks and enjoy the cruise!

Pretty much all packed up and ready to go. I was up stupidly early as am very excited.
Did mean that I got to see one last beautiful Barbados sunrise.
Selected an 11am checkin as I wasn’t sure how long the process will take in Barbados and our antigens hit their 72 hour window at 12.
Wish us luck, the final hurdle awaits!
Good luck and have a great cruise!!!

I haven't received any warnings at all.

Enjoy your cruise! Who is the cruise director? We are going on the Sirena on April 19th.

FYI - it looks like the excursions from Trieste will take you to Venice. I will also be on the April 19th sailing.
Yes we are taking an excursion to Venice...I am so happy about that!

Yes, it was a HUGE change….coupled with Croatia ports cancelled, resulted in over 200 cabins open for 7 day and only slightly fewer for 10 day. As there are no sea days during 17 days, we’re ok with staying on board at several of the “new” ports or go to local beaches. Might even be pleasantly surprised.
Croatia's ports were cancelled? We are going to Dubrovnik and Zadar...are the cancelled?

For our cruise last month we received the vacation guide 2-3 weeks before embarkment.

We were on the Riviera in February and there are umbrellas in the closet, which are large enough for two. Enjoy your cruise!

Pre-Covid, passengers staying on board in Miami for a b2b (or whatever you want to call it) were offered late disembarkation, early embarkation and a special meal hosted in Jacques. This lunch, a limited 2-choice per course, was the best we have ever had including any of the specialty dining venue. The menu choices were unique as well.
I suspect it was done to alleviate some of the congestion in Terrace and the suites.
Is this still done? We have upcoming B2B’s so we sure hope so.
No, this is not still done. We were on the Riviera a few weeks ago.

We are also on Sirena April 19 from Rome to Istanbul May 6.
We are really looking forward to this cruise! Did you book a lot of Oceania's excursions? When I was on the Riviera last month, I asked how many were booked on the Sirena and at that time was only half full.

Just received notice from Oceania that Sirena will not be going to Venice at all during our trip in April. Instead we will visit Trieste, Italy and Zagard, Croatia. They have just posted some excursions, but no prices yet.
Does anyone know anything about either destination? When are you going in April? We are going on the 19th. The excursions in both Tireste and Zadar look very interesting. Zadar is known for their beautiful National Park and we will go to one with multi-teared waterfalls. In Tireste we will take an excursion to Marano and other small islands of Venice.

O Air now includes free transfers to the port and airport on return. Three weeks ago we were at the baggage claim area and saw someone holding an Oceania sign. We didn't even think they were looking for us!

We walked to the beach in St Barts - 15-20 minutes. Easy walk. We spent so much time in the water, we didn’t need a chaise. There were chaises there, but I don’t know if they rent to anyone or are for guests of a nearby place. Never asked. The cove was just beautiful. I sat on a flat rock for about 15 minutes just enjoying the view.
I think you are talking about Shell Beach, correct? Very pretty there and we did some snorkeling on the left near the rocks. We also sat on a flat rock. Looking forward to cruising on Monday! Thanks for posting!

After being pretty isolated at home for almost two years,it feels amazing to have other people around us. It is also wonderful to have somebody else preparing meals and cleaning up! So far we feel very safe and well cared for. Everyone on board seems happy to be here and are complying with the protocols. I’m sitting here on the balcony of our cabin enjoying the sunshine and a lovely view of St Bart’s. For the first time in a long time, I feel relaxed and normal. So glad we faced our fears and decided not to cancel.
It is so great to hear how happy and relaxed you are on the cruise! We will be onboard next week. Enjoy every minute of the cruise and thanks for posting!

For folks on the next Riviera cruise (or later). If you end up going to St Bart’s, sign up for the RIB Snorkel tour. Very few spots and the guy who does the tour is EXCELLENT. He does a guided snorkel that is among the best we’ve experienced.
I have been thinking of the RIB Snorkeling Tour and after I read your post I booked it. Thanks for your recommendation!

We are sailing out on Feb. 7th and have been following since Nymich started the first thread. Thank you so much for posting the new normal onboard O’s Rivera! As a result of all your posts we plan to sail on the 7th! I appreciate the unbiased reviews you have provided sprinkled with a good portion of humor.
Same here!!! We decided to go on the Feb. 7th cruise, thanks to all of the good reviews on here!

Hand sanitizer was seemingly literally everywhere on board Riviera (12/13-23/21), Cruze4Ever. And all you had to do was ask Reception for an N95. They had an endless supply. We had to ask once as we forgot our masks before tendering. And they had a kit in your room with sanitizer and an N95.
Thanks so much!!!
-
When I was on an Oceania cruise Feb. 2020, they gave out pocket sized hand sanitizers. Are they still doing that? Also, I saw a picture of a Mask N95 on the bed in a stateroom. Do they give those out daily. Just asking so I know what to stock up on and bring with me. Thanks!
-
Thanks so much to everyone for posting with such valuable information! We are booked on the Feb. 7 cruise and I remember seeing a picture of a KN-95 mask that was in a cabin. Does Oceania give these out on a daily basis, or should I order and bring my own?
Happy cruising, enjoy and stay well!
