Just got our answer back from Carnival. I guess they've noticed an uptick in the number of bookings and claims. We didn't get the full amount for the difference but it came with a detailed explanation. I'm still fine with it and I look forward to our 4/28 sailing!

We must have almost been neighbors! We were on 7 with Leonard too - and we did the Cosol tour!

Dining room wait staff: Desmond (waiter) and Cany (assistant), both from India, were fantastic! Desmond was by far the best waiter we have had on any cruise, and Cany was an excellent assistant. We had MTD dining and after having experienced Desmond and Cany on the first night we made reservations at a table in their section for the rest of the cruise. If you have MTD dining and end up in their section, congratulations! Make a reservation and enjoy their excellent service all week. We gave them envelopes with additional tip on the last night of the cruise because we truly felt they deserved it. [/font]

 

We were on this same cruise and had the wonderful opportunity to sit with Desmond & Cany 3x. They were some of the best servers we have experienced on any ship!

We are typically only a party of 2 and we never get sat at 2 or 4 tops. We've always been at large rounds with multiple groups.

it works for us b/c we can vary up when we want to eat based on what else we have going on that day. And we've typically been sat at the same table with the same guests and severs. I think they try very hard to make it a good experience.

We went on it a couple of years ago and are planning on doing it again during our upcoming 3/22 cruise.
